If hometown local is what you shopping for is your place but if you're not a fanatic or a local to colonial Beach then it's not really for you because it's all basically colonial Beach hometown decor

Peddler's Market has a ton of great things inside, boasting many stalls with a wide variety of items. It's kept very neat and organized, the staff are sweet and courteous and so very helpful. It's nice and cool on the inside which is great on those dog days of summer when the temps are brutal. All these positives and yet I have given it only one star. Why, you ask? Despite it's many positives, an unavoidable negative which is the fact that the owner can't keep the people whom she's 'interviewing' straight. I applied to be a store manager there and within the hour I received a call from the owner. We were both excited for me to begin working as a store manager since she and her husband had been working their hands to the bone trying to do what needed to be done while their employee numbers were low. I come in and worked two days for them and everyone was easy to get along with and I really enjoyed being there. When I went home the second day I was told they would get in touch with me on when they wanted me to come in next. Well, a week later and no word from them. I decided to message her and the response I got was basically they wanted to congratulate me, they want me as store manager and I was very happy to hear this. Then, a moment later I get another message that said wait, is this Jessica? The next message asked who I was. The third message was to apologize, they thought I was Jessica.Now, correct me if I am wrong or if I am out of line for thinking this, but wouldn't you think they'd get in touch with me if they had decided not to hire me, even just out of common courtesy?? I DID work for two days but I still had to remind them who I was and when I had worked, and also that I had a paycheck coming.I'm thoroughly upset with the fact that not only did I have to contact THEM to find out they weren't hiring me but they couldn't even remember who I was.

Great selection of all kinds of things, but the staff is not very knowledgeable about inventory or where to find things. I found some great items there and will definitely go back again.

If I could give it negative stars I would. The owner of the store discriminates against who is hired and finds any reason to get rid of anyone of color. Do not work or shop at this store period

Very interesting place. A lot of home made art work, some talented artists displaying their work. Some nice items for your beach home.

I love Peddler's Market. It's my go to spot when I am looking for a unique gift for someone or just something for myself. Love that a lot of the times are made by local crafters.

Before I joined the Peddlers Market family, I would visit and pick up gifts for loved ones….and MYSELF ??????. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Since opening up a shop at Peddlers Market, the other vendors have been incredibly helpful with advice and even borrowing tools ??? The staff are so very encouraging and creative. I am very blessed to be a part of the family. ??? Merry Christmas ? ??☺️☺️☺️
