This is a nice but very basic winery. In general everything they do here is only aged and stainless steel. Although they do make an exception for a couple reds that have a very short oak barrel aging process. They do have a pretty nice venue made out of straw bales which is kind of unique in itself. They do tastings here, but it's only for 4 bottles when they have eight different varieties available. I will say the four we tasted were all good wines although our least favorite was a Cabernet Sauvignon. They mainly have indoor seating without a real designated outdoor seating area. Also they don't have a kitchen but I was told they occasionally have food trucks in during the weekends.

Great location with beautiful river views. Wine was excellent. Also have some cider choices. Kiki, the proprietor, is awesome! This was our first time to the area and she gave us the "inside scoop" on the best places to go in Colonial Beach.

Near the Moose Lodge...4 stars for Ambience, it's just waiting to be filled with happy voices. Do not be deceived by the curb appeal. Whimsical touches and the waterside location add charm and potential for picnics and weddings. Healthy pours, close to Colonial Beach. You actually can bring your own kayak and paddle to to Colonial Beach or even stay in the Air BNB and do an early morning kayak (provided with the Air BNB rental) for an early morning paddle down to the beach. Service (shout out for Tina) was super friendly and efficient. If you are hungry, bring your own fruit, nuts, cheese & crackers as there wasn't much available in the Saturday we visited. Relaxing, clean, safe and fun stop.

Thank you Kiki, for a beautiful wedding, our story is definitely a fairytale, and you made our dream come true I have many favorite photos you had taken I'd love to share them all but it isn't possible, we came to visit and walked around the side to view the place we were going to stand and our eyes caught a glimpse of a bean bag Frankenstein that was literary our sign we were at the right place... ment to be!

1. Place is a smidge hard to find but just use the addy from website and go down the dirt road. 2. Kiki is amazing, so attentive and wonderful. I love people who love what they do. She shared so much about wine and winemaking which was awesome. It wasn't just someone trying to get you to buy wine it was an experience. Side note: great photographer and dang em happy birthday too! 3. Wines are pretty good but OooooH MAN! That dessert the chocolate decadence. Chocolate cake, rich and moist and served warm in a wine glass sprinkled with their Cabernet sugar (made from the skin of the one grapes I believe) this is available for purchase. She also drizzled a Cabernet syrup tho not for sale amazingly delicious. We had one with and one without and by far that addition of syrup was phenomenal. 4. Aside from amazing chocolate cake they have cheese spread you can purchase. 5. You can sit inside and play chess or chill, or go outside and sit by water. 6. Dog friendly however, they can't be inside. But plenty of outdoor beautiful seating with views of the water (I recommend bringing off)

Not what we expected. Landscaping was run down. Atmosphere inside was dull. Although our server was very nice.

Stumbled across this place while the area. My wife and I stopped in for a tasting and was impressed with the quality of their wines, especially the Chambourcin and Cab Sav. The tasting room is still under construction, and looks to be very nice once completed. They have outside seating with a view of Monroe Creek. It proved to make for a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon.
