A great venue for entertainment. A class place in this time of declining small towns.

Always a great place to visit. They do free movie nights even! If there is any place to donate some time and money it's here.

About Historic Masonic Theatre and Masonic Amphitheatre
The Historic Masonic Theatre is an architectural treasure. A four-story, Beaux Arts brick building with pilastered facade, a cove ceiling lobby and original performance hall with stage and balcony, the historic theatre will be transformed into a performing arts, entertainment, education, and community facility. Opened as an opera house and Mason Hall in 1906, the Historic Masonic Theatre has served the Alleghany Highlands for 110+ years as a performing arts theatre and for a short time, a movie theatre. The Theatre was completed renovated in 2016, restoring it to its former glory. The award-winning Masonic Amphitheatre, opened in June 2016, is a 500-seat outdoor venue for music, plays, and all forms of entertainment.
