Not too bad, although the reception could have been better. As I was passing through the area I stopped for lunch at this Denny's. I placed my order online and then showed up at the restaurant about 10 minutes later. I stood at the register for at least 10 minutes, watching some people get seated and two other people paid their check, but no one even acknowledged my presence. I watched as several staff members walked past me without looking in my direction. Finally, when a lady did it again, I said "Excuse me! I'm here waiting for an order I placed online." I was told they were still working on it, even before she knew my name or checked anywhere for my order. My order came about 5 minutes later, and it was accurate and cooked nicely.Parking: The restaurant is inside the Flying J Travel Center. The travel center has lots of parking even for the largest vehicles.

Stopped in to get a burger for after work at 6 am and the server was super on point with my restrictions and dietary concerns. I got a double burger with cheese and an egg. It came out withing just a few minutes. the burger is the only burger I haven't eaten at home in this area with actual flavor. Don't tend to leave reviews unless I'm blown away good or bad. This burger made me happy to stop before going home. I think the server was both server and cook and she killed it. I think her name was chasity. I dont know about how other tines of days are but 6 am is definitely worth stopping hereDietary restrictions: Carnivore/ keto

Second time here and both visits were a disappointment. The bacon the first time was absolutely flavorless. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t me so I had my husband try it and he agreed. The second visit, which was yesterday was even worse. The bread was stale, bacon, was old and the wall that separates our booth from the other side was sticky, and I accidentally touched it with my fingers.

Sat at counter , waitress wasn't busy , waitress was friendly (sorry all I can say good) . She was playing on her phone (doing mostly odd jobs) , I ran out of coffee waiting for my order (took almost 45 minutes to receive) , cook in back had rang the bell for my order as she played and made coffee (wasn't out , just made more) , 7 min. after bell rang finally went back to serve (she said careful plates HOT) of course sat under heat lamps all of that time , asked for more coffee and sat another 7 min. without silverware or coffee and the eggs got rubbery from sitting under the lamp . Was quiet about my whole experience till now . Won't Be Back !

My waitress was HORRIBLE!! She never put our order in and when she did it was completely wrong. If it wasn't for my girls I would have left.

Not a great experience...and it took a long time. The server was friendly but sarcastic. The turkey dinner wasn't good. The turkey was very chewy. The stuffing was burnt. Everything was salty. The mashed potatoes weren't hot. They were out of a few things that we tried to order. It just leaves a lot to be desired...and we didn't go in with high expectations.

I'm a truck driver and constantly stop at this Denny's since it is inside the Pilot truck stop. Waited a few months to do a review simce I have seen they are understaffed (sorry but seems they been this way for several months and enough is enough) There is AAAAAALWAYS some type of drama with these ladies. There is an older lady who has terrible attitude and over heard a young manager point blank tell her she was being rude and of course the older lady had all kinds of sassyness (again, some type of internal ongoing drama). My waitres was extremely nice, courteous and attentive. No issue there, she along is the reason I am giving an extra star. Ordered Bourbon Chicken Skillet with no BBQ sauce and asked for veggies with a bit extra butter. Chicken breasts could tell was frozen then cooked for it was horribly dry. Skillet was barely warm rather than sizzling hot (was able to grab handle with my hand) bottom Veggies were over cooked, some pieces of squash burnt,, almost turned into dried skins and had almost no trace of butter (remember I asked for Extra butter). The steak and ham were properly warn and cooked. Overall, place was empty and on a Saturday night, (says a lot about a dining place) but atleast looked clean. This place desperately needs retraining, restaffing maybe restructuring management because I am truly tired of hearing and seeing constant drama from these ladies.

We visited passing through, it's been a longtime. Won't come back again though. Place was excessively dirty. And the servers were overly rude. Which I feel is understandable, due to all of them come from hillbilly west virginia. And come over to virginia to have work. But poorly educated or trained even. It took a little while for anyone to come get our order after being seated. And there was only two other tables besides ours. Not busy what so ever. But took almost an hour for our small dinner order to be served. Burgers fries, a T-bone and eggs, Pancakes and eggs bacon, And salads all around. You ask for french fries you get hash browns. You ask for an english muffin you get toast. Basically what ever you ask for, you'll get something either different or not prepared the way you specifically ask for it. To cold or over cooked, or ask for an item and you'll either get something different or they simply don't bring it. Finding your server, is like pulling teeth, very hard.
And god forbid, don't ask for any dressings, or for any condiments. Because it's almost like ordering another meal. They're charging for salad dressings for your salads, which is something you're supposed to get. Guess they think you wanna eat them dry. You ask for a certain lettuce, you get the other, you ask for sliced tomatos you get cherry. I mean its wild, do those servers even listen to what you're saying to them or not.
You ask for sauce or some other condiment for your meat, or any of your sides like gravy or a dressing. You'll have to pay extra like a dollar per item.
And it's brought in a very tiny plasitic container, like a couple tea spoons worth. I mean it's totally ridiculous to us. Being that all other dennys out there, don't charge for those extra's. And the initial topping if you actually get one on your meal, is so little, we're thinking thats how they are making money, by over charging or additional charges for stuff you already should be getting. The one just down the road in the town of winchester, va. operates correctly and more efficiently and effectively and won't try to drain your wallet for little extras. And to top it off, they at least keep it a clean place to dine in. Wishing that we just drove another ten miles to get a better eperience for sure.
We feel bad for any long haul truck drivers that may stop in for a meal. Because It be like they won't get a good one, or they'll have to pay a fortune for whatever that they would order. Especially for them little extras.
Maybe thats their opinion on charges, because maybe they just don't wanna serve visitors to their location. And just be kind to their own local kind of people, fellow hillbillies or something. lol
Next time that we ever feel like dining at a denny's restaurant in that area.
We'll surely drive a bit further. Or definitely choose another restaurant in the area. But definitely won't ever go back to that one. Well not till they get people to work there, that know how to run a proper establishment.
Wish that i could of only given zero on the scale, but to write an honest review you have to at least give a one on it.
Good luck to anyone that ever goes there. Because their experience will surely be an eye opening one for sure. Thank You.
