I come to this Y often since it’s bigger than the one in Chase City and I appreciate that it has a Women’s room. I do hate the fact that there’s not any locker rooms open after hours. There’s only 1 bathroom open. Other than that they have almost every machine to get the job done.

Staff extremely unprofessional, biased and not what the Y should stand for. Avoid.

I've been a member of several gyms. The Clarksville YMCA is my least favorite. The equipment is old and there is far less available compared to other gyms. The A/V equipment is limited and not fully functional. Many of the receptionist are unfriendly and don't inspire physical fitness. I suspect there is little training offered. If you want hot water in the restrooms you better bring your own. The clientele are mostly the geriatrics group. It's not an inspiring place to work out for me.The facility is clean, restrooms adequately stocked, and the director is receptive to suggestions. There is 24/7 access, but at an additional charge. They offer a variety of classes on weekdays. I typically visited in the evening. I never saw the gym as overly crowded. If you never visited another gym, have limited expectation, and you're a grandparent then it may be the place for you. Personally, I can't recommend the Clarksville YMCA.

They choose to not honor Silver Sneakers plus they lack a pool. South Boston, VA and Henderson, NC are better options.

Clarksville YMCA is a great place for all ages. Fitness classes for all levels. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Great YMCA!

My favorite place for a great cardio class, yoga, personal training, and enjoying the camaraderie that the Y brings to communities.

Great gym and good social hub for a small town.

It has the bare minimum to call it a YMCA. No pool, no gym, no sauna, no hot tub, no steam room, nothing. It's really kinda sad.

Everyone there is very nice. I don't feel self conscious about my weight at all. I just feel encouragement and warmth.
