Absolutely no one should ever do business with this fraudulent company. Allow me to share my experience. I recently graduated from Virginia Tech and had used Xfinity's subpar internet services from this Comcast location at the house I lived in during my sophomore year from Aug 2021 - Aug 2022. I only lived in that house for 12 months and only used these services during those 12 months. When I moved out of that house in August 2022, I went back to this location, paid my account balance in full, closed my account, and returned all of my equipment. My journey with this company should have ended there. It unfortunately did not. In May 2024, almost two full years after closing my account, I received a call from a debt collection agency, claiming that I had an unpaid balance of over $200 with my Comcast account. I found this unusual given that I had not used or heard from Comcast in almost 2 years, so I called Comcast to ask if they had actually sent collections after me. They told me that they had been trying to contact me about my unpaid balance only via mail, but the mailing address they were sending these notices to was the house I had moved out of in August 2022, so I never got them. I told them I was confused as to why I had this massive unpaid balance, as I had returned all my equipment, paid in full, and closed the account so long ago. Due to this I requested a breakdown of charges be sent to me, detailing all the charges I was being held liable for, when they were charged, and what they were for. Upon receiving this breakdown in the mail, the dates showed that the services I was being charged for were for services provided AFTER I had already moved out of that house, paid my balance, and closed my account. In other words, they were not my charges. I decided to call Comcast to explain that these were not my charges and try to get them cancelled. Worst mistake of my life. First of all, I had to call them while I was at work to ensure I would reach them during their business hours, so keep that in mind. After painfully getting past several automated robots that were no help whatsoever, I was transferred to at least 15 different people in about 5 different departments. Not a single one of them knew how to handle this issue or knew what department to transfer me to - I was transferred to different people in the same departments multiple times because nobody knew what department was supposed to handle these types of requests. Not a single one of the 15+ people I spoke to even knew how to find confirmation of my account cancellation, and phone numbers they had given me to call other departments were disconnected numbers. This entire process took over 3 hours of my time, and keep in mind, I was at work and could not work at all for these hours. Furthermore, nobody actually listened to me when I detailed what the charges were from - each person told me it was a different thing I was being charged for. Some said I was correct and that the charge was an invalid charge for services provided after I already closed the account, some said that the charge was actually from missed monthly payments in the summer 2022 months, some said that it was from missed monthly payments in fall/winter 2021 - everyone told me something different because nobody actually knew why I was being (incorrectly) charged this amount. Nothing matched up. After over 3 hours, I finally realized that this company did not have any intention of helping me resolve the issue and I finally realized I had no other choice but to pay this balance, which again, was over $200, and I am a recent college grad so I am not exactly swimming in money at the moment. After paying the balance (to another robot on the phone), Comcast said I would receive a confirmation receipt, but I did not, and it has been several hours since I paid at this point. Clearly this company profits off of scamming and misleading their clients into paying charges that they are not liable for. I will never again do business with them and I advise others to do the same. RIP my credit score.

To anybody reading this, techs are only paid if the customer gives them a 10/10 rating. That means they could travel an hour and back to get to a job, and if they don't get a perfect score, they don't get paid. That's wage theft and exploitation. Xfinity is the only provider out here, so they get our money no matter what, and yet, techs aren't paid for the work they provide. It should be illegal ?

Absolutely terrible customer service. You cannot speak to anyone on the phone and there is only a stupid robot on the phone that is utterly useless. I get charged monthly double the amount that I had originally registered for and every single time I try to reduce the charge, it gets reset for the next month. This company is a joke. I do not reccomend this company to anyone at all.

I went to this store to pick up an internet connection kit I ordered a week ago for my returning college student. They said there were none in stock, and hadn’t had them for over a week due to an unspecified system problem, and they had no idea when they might ever see them. Looked like a lot of other college student customers experiencing the same problem. Oh and on my way out the employee asked me to leave a ten star rating for them, lol.

Scammed with false advertisement about receiving 100 gift cards per Xfinity mobile phones activated. Called the costumer service and after 1hr getting transferred to all kinds of departments they say they sent us an email with the virtual gift cards that we never received. We asked them to see the date that it was supposed was sent and nothing… they DONT KNOW. We asked to resend the email and they said they can’t. Truth is they never sent it and after they got us to switch phone carrier they are not honoring the advertising. Scan, scan, scan… going to pursue my rights and sue them.

This store is run by inept children, the "manager" "Justin" may know a little about the technology , however his customer service skills along with the employees there, are that of a child. If you want to use anything xfinity I would highly recommend doing it on the internet and or suffering through the ridiculous wait times on the phone. To visit this store in person will not be a good/ or even halfass experience. There's a good reason their reviews are currently at less than 3 stars.

Don't get Comcast! Way overpriced (paying more that $200 for 50M speed), and their online bill pay has not worked for months. We are about to be cut off, and no one responds. Switching to T-Mobile.

While i was at this store today, a man came in and explained how his wife had just passed away and he needed to pay the bill. The manager couldnt do anything about it which is understandable, but instead of explaining politely the manager yelled at that poor man who was being so respectful and made him leave. Absolute worst customer service ive ever seen.

Very good customer service. I was greeted and acknowledged as soon as I walked into the store then told someone would be available to help me soon. While I waited a couple of things caught my eye and before I was finished looking at the new phones a gentleman was available. I was still window shopping though so he very professionally let me know he was available at my convenience.
