I'm very happy with the service I received from Jay and his team. I dropped my vehicle to them in the morning for a 4 wheel alignment and they had my car ready in less than 2 hours. Obviously that can change depending on how busy they are but I can ensure you they care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure they are satisfied. My alignment specs were met perfectly as well and they offer a warranty on it for adjustments. It's refreshing to work with some honest people, as opposed to some other shops in town.... They have earned a returning customer.

I am new in the area and was looking for a little guidance on tires for my truck. I explained what type of driving the truck was used for and the manager (J. Nobles) provided me with a few options. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I received excellent service, along with a great set of tires, and I would not hesitate to recommend Discount Tires to family and friends. Very satisfied with the entire experience.

I came in today for an appointment to have a tire repaired. After getting there and waiting in a line where there were no employees to attend to customers, I learned that I didn’t have an appointment despite being told over the phone that I did. This whole thing took about 30 minutes and it was a massive waste of time. Only giving three start because I got a new tire from there a few months ago and they were great despite it taking a long time.

Up until today my review would have been maybe 4 stars, but not anymore. I scheduled (emphasis on "scheduled") an 8 AM simple tire rotation. My 21-y.o. son met me there as he had a tire which needed a repair. It was loose in his trunk, and he would plan to reinstall it himself. He planned to drop it off and have that done while we went to breakfast. They told me they would call when the rotation was done, and told my son that the tire was not repairable. The cheapest pair of tires they'd sell him (for an old Camry, so a standard sedan size) would've cost him around $205, installed.
We returned after 3 hours. My vehicle hadn't even been taken into the shop by then. I took my key and left.
While out I checked wallyworld pricing for a low-cost pair of tires: approximately $50-55 dollars less, installed. We'll be interested to find out whether they say the tire is irreparable.
This place used to be pretty decent (at least as far as my needs were concerned) *before* being bought out by Tire Discounters, though even then I've experienced at least a couple times where the wait was excessive for a simple *scheduled* rotation (hence 4 stars, not 5).
I simply have no trust in this company now, and I avoid doing business with those whom I can not trust.

We had new tires installed in Roanoke two days ago due to an urgent tire need. Two days later after new tires the car acquired a shimmy in the car, more prevalent at higher speeds. We couldn’t get back to Roanoke so I called Thompson Tire Discounters and told J what happened and he told me to bring it by and let them check it out and I did within 30 minutes. After only a short wait J told me that my wife’s Highlander was ready. Seems the balance was off on all my tires, BUT Thompson Tire Discounters in Christiansburg, VA fixed me up quickly and at no cost.
This is a man and company instill professionalism and utmost pride in all this company does!
I thank GOD for J and Thompson Tire Discounters and making my wife’s Highlander safe to carry my precious cargo again.

Avoid taking your vehicle here for state inspection. They failed our new 2022 vehicle stating the rear brake wasn't within spec in order to up-sell a brake job. We took the vehicle to another mechanic and the brakes were fine. Shady business dealings all around.

Do you believe that someone installed the wrong TPMS sensor in your tire and refuses to accept their fault, accusing you of lying? Additionally, they are not polite at all. I gave them 1 star because, in the end, they agreed to give me a coupon (though they said they saved my name in their system instead of providing a voucher). However, I'm not sure if I should trust them to use it or if they'll accuse me of lying again!

I came in for an appointment today to have my tires rotated. When it came to get my vehicle, after it was completed, I noticed black grease hand prints on the interior of my driver side door panel. There were also clumps of greasy dirt from someone's shoes on the floor board. It's hard to find good help anymore and no respect for people's personal property. I guess the worker had no common sense to put a glove on or use a paper towel when getting in and out of the car.

Worst company I have ever dealt with by far. They forgot to order tires for the appointment so 5hrs later they were unable to do alignment. Today I return for alignment and to get a new tire after another 4hrs I'm told I have to come back again for the tire. Where did they learn to do business

They put weights on outside of wheel and got grease on floor and rail and door,lazy mechanic couldn't put down paper floor mat and on door ,hello gloves,never use them again
