Horrible experience!! We were there for almost 2 hours! They couldn't remove the filter or the plug. They said it was on too tight and asked who did this. We had previously had it changed at the dealership. The manager came in and finally got it loose.Before he left he asked them if they were okay to proceed and they said yes. The technician kept attempting to remove the plug and kept yelling to the assistant manager who by the way was out in the parking lot unwilling to help that she stripped it and couldn't get it and asking which way she should be turning it. She proceeded to ask the "assistant manager" what to do and he started cursing at her and completely lost his temper and stated that he couldn't do this anymore and he was done and walked away. (Lots of drama and cursing) He got into his vehicle and obnoxiously revved his engine and left us stranded there with a technician who didn't know what to do! The technician called their manager who came 30 minutes later. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced by their assistant manager and manager. Once the manager was finished he was motioning us to leave but I asked him to come to talk to me and explained what the assistant manager did. He was like ok ok I hear you and wouldn't talk to us. I'm taking my car back to the dealership to see what damage has been caused I have reached out to customer service with no response as of yet.

The service I received was quick, easy, and effective. The staff was friendly enough to explain everything they offered, and you could tell that they knew what they were doing. I even received a student discount without asking for one. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a fast oil change from friendly people.

We love coming here to get our oil changed. Everyone is ALWAYS super nice, they give us bottled water to drink and talk to you like you've known them for years. The vehicle we drive unfortunately uses a lot of oil (2020 Jeep Compass) and they top off our oil when it gets low. Will continue to come here no matter what we need!

Checked all my fluids, and filled them and showed me that my oil was full after they changed it. Very professional and friendly. They did it fast too so if you’re in a hurry, good place to go.

I've been taking my car to Take 5 for going on 5 years now. I used them in SC and now in VA and I'm always extreamly happy with the service and ease of just dropping in with out an appointment. They always top off all my fluids and replace my wipers and tell me if I need to take my car to a shop before something breaks and they always give me a bottle of water. 266k miles strong because they keep my car happy.

Outstanding service from the guys at the Christiansburg garage. Helped me out after my truck was leaking oil from a busted gasket after having an oil change at a well-known shop nearby a few days prior. New gasket, new filter, and replacement of all of my lost oil - all on a Sunday afternoon with no delay. Would recommend to anyone.

Edit: still no return of my call or email! Don't tell me to call or email if you refuse to respond!My husband brought in my 2019 Ford Escape for a routine oil change in Christiansburg, VA. Upon starting the car and moving it out of the garage, the turbo, all wheel drive, and air conditioning all went out. He immediately pulled the car back in and told them something was wrong. They told him the wiring harness was melted to the oil filter (it was not, we have it and there is no damage to it). After a diagnostic and repairs through our dealership and being without a vehicle for nearly a month and a half, Take 5 is refusing responsibility for the damage to my vehicle totaling over $700! What the employee did was crush the wires under the oil filter when he replaced it, causing the fuses to blow, disabling all three functions. All I want is for Take 5 to reimburse me for the cost of the repairs and diagnostic! Pictures attached are the wires and the heat shield they said was melted to the oil filter.Service: Oil change

My first visit was great. No hassle and they were very detailed! My second visit I went for an oil change and they found where my transmission was leaking and alerted me to that so I could take it to a shop to be fixed. They were all very friendly and I was in and out within minutes. I went to Take 5 for the first time recently and i will NEVER go anywhere else again for my oil changing needs! they were so upfront, honest, and quick with my requests that i was amazed!! they offered a bottle of ice cold water while i waited, they chatted with me during the process (even cracked a couple good jokes that made me cackle), and they were fully transparent about what services they provided to me: who all worked on the car (names and all) and an itemized list of everything done in the 15 minutes it took to do my oil change!!100% will go back again!Service: Oil change

Veterans BEWARE!Beware of the false advertising that promises 25% off your oil change. You know, the one they hang over the garage in a huge banner. It was brought to my attention after the bill was totaled that Take 5 does not give discounts when you bring in your own oil and filter. Now I've read that banner they have waiving in front of me, nowhere did it indicate I, As a veteran, was not allowed to bring in my own oil and filter for the discount. It just says "oil change", which is what I got. I was oh so kindly "educated" by the manager at this location that the fine print isn't on the banner, nor will they inform you at the store, you have to visit there website and read it.The name Take 5 obviously isn't meant to be taken seriously when you wait half an hour for them to finish working, but it sure gets a new meaning when you have to take an extra 5 minutes to pull up the website and read the fine print on how they won't give us veterans discounts.Aside from the waiting, broken trust in their advertising, and a valuable learning experience on how this company gets one over its veteran patrons... I did get an oil change, tires filled, and a complimentary chilled water. So take a few minutes, maybe 5, and see if their prices are worth it to you without the discount.
