This is my favorite kroger. I either go to this kroger or to foodlion in Christiansburg. I love both of these grocery stores, I can't pick a favorite so they are both my favorite.

Always workers around to help, today I think they were price checking, so there were like 3 people an isle. Only draw back is usually only one served check out, the rest are self checkouts. So if you dont like that, you may have to wait if theyre busy.

I wanted 4 piece of fried chicken and the lady behind the counter refused to serve the chicken she was standing next to. Instead, she pointed me to the previously packaged chicken in the cooler. Really?! I’m not good enough for the fresher fried chicken?! Not coming back here. They offer no made—to-order sandwiches here.

I'd prefer to go get groceries from a store where the self-checkout lady (we all know the one) doesn't harass all the customers in their ways out

It's not a bad store per se. Lots of decent foods and things to choose from. Some stuff is more pricier than other grocery stores but that's to be expected at Kroger's. I would give it 4 stars except for one thing I found disgusting and that was the ladies restroom. Paper towels scattered EVERYWHERE, the sink was covered in water. Every stall had a bunch of toilet paper just lying around on the floor and the floors needed to be mopped so BADLY. The best Kroger's I've ever been to was down in Westlake at Smith Mountain Lake. Too bad it's so far away to shop at.

Kroger's steadily has incredible staffing. This morning I was helped by a young man, Connor, who went out of his way to track down a product that, for me, was well hidden. He did it with a smile even though I know he interrupted his duties just to see that I got the best help possible. I was also helped by a young woman (but I failed to get her name) in the diary department (yoghurt) who also was well informed about her work. You have hired some great people! Kudos to Kroger's!

Total dump, somehow worse after the remodel. Seems really short staffed. I appreciate every employee though. They must be doing the job of 5. Everything is so expensive compared to Walmart unless you get a digital deal. I only go here on the evenings to use the random coupons i get sometimes and always hate every second. Even if you wait in line for an actual cashier, you'll be bagging your own stuff just to get the heck out of there. Maybe they're better during day time hours but I work then.

It's close to my house and has a half decent organic section, but they are often inexplicably out of key items, will have long backups at registers with employees standing around elsewhere, and the parking lot is a bit of a mess with nonsensical traffic patterns. I still shop there for convenience, but despite recently expanding the beer and wine section I still usually buy my beer and Blacksburg, as the selection on craft beer is pitiful and doesn't seem to change often.

So many self-checkouts, making you do the job of an employee, but the price on items just keeps going up, and some employees get very rude when you need help and they have to put their phones down. Where's the customer service?

I've been shopping here for years. Most of the employees are friendly but not all.The sales are usually pretty good but you have to watch when you check out, almost every time I shop there is an error in their favor. At times on the last day of the sale they're still charging the full price. On average, for the items that I buy, Walmart is cheaper by a lot. Basically, I just buy Sale items but like I said you have to watch the price at checkout. The Digital coupons are another story, Watch what you pay at checkout. I hope I've been clear, watch at Checkout and you'll get some good deals.

Horrible cocktail section experience. If you could have the right to call it that. They Do not carry Marshiano Cherrys which one of the biggest staple garnishes of any cocktail. Wandered around wondering where they would have moved it to. None in the cherrys. Asked and they don’t even carry it. One sale lost. Then a cocktail mix which I brought to the register which was advertised as 5.50 with card was 6.99 (which wouldn’t even have been proper without the cherries) Voided and Two sales lost. Shouldn’t have even bought the club soda which was the only thing you got right. We live in an age of convenience. Why not shoot for a little. I write this sitting at the food lion parking lot where I should have went in the first place. Buy your garnishes and mixes at the ABC store or food lion instead of wasting your time here.

Store is OK. They have a pretty large produce section and some organic items that I appreciate. The store is expensive and I try to buy some bulk items on-line. Also DO NOT use the pharmacy. They don't pick up the phone, despite having a phone number.

The employees throughout the store are super nice and friendly. We just moved here, and it was our first time at this Kroger. Very pleased.

Not like other store's, this one is more of a dump. Other krogers have more options and better service.
