Refused to work on my son’s 2010 Mazda Miata. The car has a driveline whine, but the dealership refused to service it because it was more than 10 years old and they didn’t have a service history on it. My son is a student at Virginia Tech. What’s he supposed to do? Mazda should support their own vehicles. No offer to help, no recommendations for alternative service options, just sent us on our way. They refused to support the vehicle and refused to take any work.
We used to race Mazdas and the brand is known for supporting its drivers. I guess this dealership didn’t get the memo.

If I could give zero stars I would. The service department has had my 2010 Mazda for 2 days since my 7:30 A.M. diagnosis appointment. I never received any communication about the status of my car, and when I called, I was told that my car has too many aftermarket parts on it, and that the technician wasn’t comfortable diagnosing the problem. My car has a drivetrain issue, and the only modification to the drivetrain is a brand new clutch, built by the OEM clutch manufacturer, put in about 200 miles ago. When I asked further, the service dispatcher cited the cold-air intake(completely unrelated to the drivetrain) and a policy that if a car is 15 years old or more, they won’t work on it. My car is 14 years old. When I asked for a new technician, I was told the SENIOR technician is the one that refused the work. Absolute waste of my time and probably yours if your car has so much as a spoiler on it. Will never be going here again.

We had a salesman (Josh Kenne) that was a wonderful salesman that wasn't pushy and though we couldn't get the sales manager to work with the way we wanted at first in the end we did have a nice compromise and we were able to purchase our vehicle and we were very pleased with the outcome. We are grateful for the way they worked with us to where all parties was satisfied and we left there with the vehicle we wanted.

The sales people are wonderful and willing to help anyway they can. If I could give the maintenance department negative stars I would. They are horrible. They charge me almost $4000 to fix my timing chain. After they fix that they told me that my whole engine needed to be replaced. They Still charged me Even though after they had supposedly worked on it, I couldn’t even start it. I drove it in there, and it was worse off after they worked on it. Steve Price and TERRENCE MONROE were easy to work with. Do not take your car there to be serviced. They will rip you off.

Dealer is bad and The techs here are really bad. 2 years ago I brought my truck here bc the transmission wasn’t shifting right, and wanted them the flash the software for it and fix a transmission cooler leak Well, Here’s what they did. They said my shifting issue was bc of the driveshaft carrier bearing. Replaced the driveshaft carrier bearing (didn’t fix it duh) then they claimed it was also bc a wheel bearing (there were all fine) alright so with that did they update the software? No. They charged me for it tho :) unfortunately for them you can buy a 30$ tool called for scan and check if the software is updated or not. Also they didn’t fix the transmission leak. Also sold me wrecked truck but it technically is “accident free” I should have checked when I saw it had an auction vehicle history. For anyone who want to know you can copy and paste the vin into google to find auction listings or something like that if your car was sold in one somewhat recently. Well anyways that happened was, dealer bought the truck for nearly 15k wrecked, fixed it in house, ended up selling it for only 9k lol. After I fixed the truck myself so far, it’s been great, but I’d never buy a vehicle from Duncan ever again. The real problem I believe is poor management. This dealership sells junk for a mark up. With different “ownership” there is some differences in business practices ig. I sometimes go and browse the used vehicle section and I find they use a lot of Bed liner to coat truck frames(probably to hide rot), I’ve seen vehicles with puddles of water in the floor, (don’t worry they covered them with floor matts do you can’t see) and many issues that regular buyers might not see right away. Just be cautious when considering buying a vehicle from here.

I just recently bought a used truck from here. I test drove multiple vehicles. There was no high pressure to buy, I even left to get lunch think it over and came back. I decided to move forward they gave me an amazing deal, a phenomenal experience over all. Terrence M. Was my sales person and couldn’t have done a better job and I definitely will be a repeat customer worth the drive for me as I’m over an hour out and there are probably 20 dealerships within 20 miles from me
