Absolutely disgusted in this place. My mother passed away January 8th. My aunt called to inform them and tell them she would bring the death certificate in and the woman was rude !!! The day my aunt took the death certificate in she had the nerve to say “this isn’t proof” . & act completely rude and disrespectful to my family. As if we haven’t suffered a loss. We had to deal with a terrible person. She should be fired if that’s how she talks to her customers.

The Drive through is supposed to be open until 6 o'clock on Friday. This is the 3rd time in a row I've gone to deposit my check before 6 o'clock and they were closed. Unacceptable.

Was here earlier today after already having a off day we had a bit of a mis communication in the drive-thru, After the mis communications with the teller ( who is NEW btw) a women named "wendy" walks up and basicly tells me what she thinks about the situation and leave it at that. I was trying to explain to her what was trying to say before she walked into the conversation and she didnt want to hear it. Wouldnt even listen to what I had to say! Basically told me thats not what was said.. literally talked over and thru me! Ive never felt so disrespect in my life! Ive worked over 10 years in retail MANAGEMENT and you do not treat customers the way I was treated! I called back and spoke to the manger who was nice and apologized for the situation after he let me explain what I was trying to explain to her but I do not think I will ever return to this location! There is one women who works at this location whom I truly love and if it wasn't for her everything I have at carter bank and trust would've been canceled today and I would've taken my business elsewhere!For future reference, Try letting someone explain their side of things before you open you mouth about something you didnt hear or witness!YOU made this SO much bigger then it needed to because you didnt talk the time to LISTEN!

Terrible bank to deal with I had an account for yrs they did not offer online banking and if u call to get and account balance they would not give it to you from there local office they transfer you and you end up being on hold for 30min. The other day I went to deposit $ and found out the closed my account and they are not supposed to just close people's accounts now no one can tell me why.

Good local bank but a bit behind the times. Lifetime free checking, but no internet banking services and idiosyncratic limits on what local branches can do.

Blue Ridge Bank wasn't too good but since it changed to Carter it's really went downhill. Too many women standing around gabbing and gossiping not worrying about customer service. Come to National Bank will be happy to help you.

Bank is stoneage... No online banking... All deposits including cash takes at least a day to process and post to account.. direct deposits are not available till they open @ 9 am... only good thing since they do not have any ATMs for their debit cards their drivethrough is open 7-7 Mon-Sat
