Used the dog wash - my 2 dogs had been sprayed by a skunk. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the space and very happy to see "de-skunk" as a wash option. Doggies smelled much better afterwards.

As someone who's practically a car wash connoisseur, this place is the top dog in Christiansburg, hands down. The owner, a very nice stand-up guy, practically camped out here for a week through an arctic freeze to keep everything running with heated water, even broke 3-inch thick ice with a sledgehammer and removed it from the area. The app is killer, too—with payment drafts and sweet discounts. There are several membership options, including options combined with the self-service dog wash located at the end of the building. I chose the 4 washes per month membership for $12 per month. If you are OCD, ADHD, and have a touch of ASD like me and have had a soft cloth wash swirl your finish causing PTSD, and now refuse using cloth washes or even letting others touch it, driving from Blacksburg to hit this spot is well worth it. Also, being located across the street from an auto parts store is an added bonus for people who think it's okay to power wash your engine.

Update: Thanks to the owner for the response, and suggestion to use the touchless automated wash. Will try next time, and update my review.If you don’t scrub with that gnarly brush, nothing gets cleaned with just the pressure washing. Might as well as use the automated car washes, risk the brushes, and get a real clean.

Had no idea the touchless worked so well. Also the self serve is extremely cheap. It's cheaper than what it cost 10 years ago. Perfect place to get a wash.

Great price and is a great carwash normally, however recently the vacuums often don’t work and take your money. Similar situation to soap not being stocked and paying $5 for a rinse.

I paid for a $5 wash and was charged $10 to my bank, was told they put a $5 hold on cards, bank shows differently. I used this wash many times and that has never happened until this week. Pathetic to steal money. There are plenty of other car washes in town and plenty of lawyers also. Shady business practice is against the law.

So, we went to wash our car and there's no soap to be seen in the pre-rinse AGAIN. It's all water! I deleted part of what I wrote 7 months ago for this car wash and figured I'd give it another chance. That chance came and went down the drain. Hardly ANY soap coming out of the brush and what's there is SO watered down. Trash is still flowing through the parking lot with some trash cans overflowing. Is no one manning this car wash anymore??? $5 for 15 minutes is just a waste. We would go to Shelor but we have a scooter hitch on the back of our jeep and we can't wash it there for that reason. Wish I could rate 0 stars!

I was super impressed with the 10$ deal on the automated car wash. I won’t take a car into anything that has bristles so this is the best in town… and you get the under carriage spray down which is a must with salty roads during the winter. Don’t waste your time at Shelor Car Wash because you’ll leave with scratches all over your darker colored vehicle and trust me, I’ve experienced it. The picture below is right after I left the car wash…. Honestly surprised that it was this clean. For sure going back many times when I’m too lazy to wash it during the winter!
