Beautiful, clean room, plenty of parking and easily accessible. I had a perfect view for my balcony. I was greeted when I checked in. Will definitely stay here again!
Rooms: Room was clean and the view of the bay was beautiful! Room included a queen size bed, sofa, recliner, table, 2 chairs dresser and night stands. My bed was very comfortable as well.
Walkability: Right on Main St; easily walkable to many businesses.

This place smells of musk and old cigarette fliters and mildew all mixed in one. It is extremly outdated, the carpet is stained and has been here since the opening it seems like.
The beds were completely uncomfortable, very hard, like sleeping on your grandmas's antique sofa in her livingroom.
The refrigerator did not work at all, the coffee pot was dirty with leftover dried grounds in it, which makes no sense because there or coffee bags not coffee grounds.
We paid $252.00 per night for a two small uncomfortable double beds, not queen beds, two small double beds. The cost should have been for only $102.00 a night motel as it is really only a 2-3 star hotel.
This is nothing like an island resort. Don't let the name full you, nor the location on the water which makes it seem nice, but there are lots of places in Chincoteague with great views and on the water that cost the same amount or even less and are a lot more comfortable and nicer.
I regret staying here and do not recommend it. They need to renovate it and change the extremely firm hard casket mattresses.
I would love to share my pictures of the truth of this overly priced motel 6 with a different name.

First off I’m usually not the person to write bad reviews. Being a small business owner I take pride in customer service and always try to resolve issues with my customers and making sure they are happy, nothing else matters. With this place I’m astounded how the owner would not apologize and siding with her employees that were really rude to my husband when he voiced his issue with being kicked out from a workout room by a kitchen worker. She wanted to use a hot tub that is also located in cardio room and rudely asked him to get out. She was also moody one of the mornings serving breakfast.
They wrote my husband that he was the rudest person all summer when in reality he is a very truthful person that won’t hide his voice and will speak up when he or our family is being mistreated.
We also had an issue with moldy smell and mildew (just as our neighbors on the left) in the room provided on the 1st floor and we asked to be moved to the 2nd floor which was much better. Most of my clothes smelled of mildew after that 1st room. Owner will deny anything you have issue with and call you a liar for bringing this up. They are set in their ways and let the employees run the place.
The only good part about this place is the view and location, - only second floor and up. These people need to take customer service lessons from students working in Ropewalk restaurant down the road. So if you want good customer service take your business somewhere else. We won’t be back. Not even for the view.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OLDER HOTEL. Does have a good view, however our room smelled of mold and my wife's clothes later smelled due to this AC mildew. There's no customer service here as well, we had an issue with two ladies, one at the front desk and one whom worked in the breakfast kitchen were very rude and disrespectful to my wife and family. (I've worked at the Hilton in Miami for 5 years and a luxury condo in Miami for many years after.) I never have seen such disrespect to a paying customers (we paid over $1,600 for six nights) My wife and I were looking forward to enjoying the Cardio Gym/Jacuzzi as advertised. However getting the key to access this so called Cardio Gym was extremely difficult and can be done apparently only after 4pm with some luck. We only went 2-3 times and both times the Jacuzzi/Cardio room was already occupied by this kitchen cook lady employee.
lol yea imagine. When I was in the gym the night before our vacation was over This kitchen employee came into the gym and asked when I was going to be done using the cardio bike. She acted very disrespectful as she did one morning at breakfast where my family had interacted with her as she snapped at us. I was in the cardio room for only 30 minutes. So after a few minutes I went to the front desk to see what the issue was and speak to a manager. I waited until the lady at the front desk was free, as she saw me waiting in line she barked at me after I asked to speak to a manager, she said "she would deal with me later" in front of other customers like I'm an animal lol. Just unbelievable rude and inconsiderate people. Finally I did speak to the owner/manager the next day and sent her an email to see what the problem was with the exercise room and front desk talking down to my wife and I. I see why the front desk doesn't care, the owner gave us the same disrespect blaming it all on us and OUR attitude. I guess they don't like people calling them out for this treatment. Unbelievable! We have stayed at many hotels in different countries as well and this was the worst customer service/employees we have ever seen. My wife and I were polite with them but they started raising their voices at us. I would not have written this if they didn't get all disrespectful and nasty with us and say something like I'm sorry from the start it was some issue. But they dragged us in the dirt wanting to argue all day. We felt like we had too because I'm sure they're doing this to others.

Very clean room and beautiful view. There is plenty of parking and a nice pool. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. However, they lack customer service. Didn't feel very welcomed at all.

This is probably the best location on the island. It is very clean and maintained well. that said, I have but one issue the furniture and bed spreads are the same since I visited in 80's . I think it's time for new furnishings. We have stayed there many times and truly love the location.

Great place great service outstanding views I've stayed there 3 times but they need to have more outside garbage cans instead of only one at the ice machine

It was a good hotel but not really a resort, no real cleaning, and bed making service. However, the breakfast was amazing! But the lady at the front lied and said I was booked for one more day than I was, so I had to leave the beach and pack up early.

This was our first time ever staying here over the Memorial Day weekend. The location is very convenient with plenty of parking. King room with an awesome view!! The room was large, clean, and the furniture and bed was very comfortable. We have already made another reservation for August. Highly recommended.
