The e-bikes were so easy to use, and we got all over Assateague Island in 2 hours and 40 minutes. That was long enough for us to get tired, and it’s a way to really immerse yourself in nature. The battery still had tons of charge left when we returned the bikes, so you could ride all day if you wanted. After we left, we realized that we didn’t get bike locks. Maybe the guy forgot them, but it meant we couldn’t leave the bikes anywhere, and that was limiting. Make sure you ask for locks! We decided to go back to the island by car so we could go on the beach.

We had booked e-bikes, our bikes were of great quality, fully charged and basket attachment was available. I would recommend offering a bike mount for phones as it is helpful to navigate. Overall great experience!

Another wonderful experience with Chincoteage Bike. They hooked us up with 4 bikes and a pull behind child carrier. They were very accommodating. Customer service was top notch, bikes were in good repair, and the e-bikes were fully charged.I look forward to returning again in the fall for another opportunity to rent from them. Steven and Morgan are gems . Thank you again, for a wonderful day!

We rented three e-bikes and had great time biking around town and through the wildlife loop. Rich was wonderful and gave us a quick tutorial on how to use the bikes. I highly recommend his shop, he even had a bike that our 5 year old could ride on back.

Renting an E bike from here is by far the best way to experience the island. Staff was SUPER nice and the bikes were great.

We are return customers and while I wanted to give 5 stars I couldn't this time around. When we arrived at the shop to rent the bikes we found they were closed with a sign on the door at my other job til 2pm. This could be a result of being at the end of the prime season, but we stopped back at 2 and rented 2 E-Bikes for 4 hours and headed out to Assateague, well about 2 miles down the road I hit a bump and the handlebars broke loose and I came crashing down on the neck/stem of the bike, fortunately I didn't wreck and it didn't happen in traffic. I turned around and got the bike back to the shop and where I had a less pleasant stop, it was hard to keep the handlebars in any place. The worker swapped out the bike and I off I went. When I caught back up with my wife we started to ride the wildlife loop but it became uncomfortable to ride because where I hit the neck/stem of the bike was starting to hurt. so we returned the bikes after only an hour of the 4-hour rental. The worker was sorry but offered nothing more to my wife (she took the helmets in). I reached out to the owner and explained what happened, he was extremely sorry and offered to make things right (for the record I was willing to pay for the hour we had the bikes, because things happen, but the owner refunded the whole rental). Overall this was bad experience but I would rent from them again and accidents happen and maintenance issues, happen, it's all about how the business handles it afterwards. I'd have given 4 stars if the employee had made things right and we didn't have to reach out to the owner.

The best e bikes by far!! Bikes are in great shape and easy to maneuver. The best way to see the island on the bike trails. Rich, the owner was so friendly.

Can’t say enough good things about this shop! Rich was great, explained the bikes, gave us a quick lesson and we were off! We had ages ranging from 16 to 70 and the e-bikes really allowed us to all enjoy our park experience together without skipping a beat.. and we were working with folks recovering from knee and hip replacements! Fantastic customer service, bikes and helmets were all in near-new condition (who wants to rent something that will breakdown half way through your trail?!) that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Must visit, even if it’s just for a great conversation and dinner recommendations… but seriously, get the e-bike and experience the park like nothing else! And say “hi” to Rich for us!

Amazing people, great bikes. My dad got a flat tire on a bike we bought from home and they had no problem fixing it only took a few minutes and was super friendly and didn’t cost a whole lot I would recommend 10/10

If you are visiting Chincoteague Island I highly recommend renting an ebike from this shop. Rich was enthusiastic, helpful and very knowledgeable about the different kinds of ebikes and what might work best for us and what we wanted to do that day. Its minutes down the road from Assateague and bikes get free entry into the park. Its a wonderful way to explore the many trails on the island and you can cover SO much more ground than a regular bike. We were there on a windy day and would have been exhausted with regular bikes. We had alot of fun with the rad bikes - good storage, easy to use and get the hang of. If I'm ever out near Chincoteague again I'm going to see Rich - he was so lovely and the shop is a gem!
