“From the moment Cooper and I walked in, there was just a “we love animals” vibe. It was just a different feeling than any other vet I’ve been to in the area. From the ladies at the front desk to the tech to the Vet. Cooper absolutely loved the tech and was crying for her when she left the room. The Vet was absolutely thorough and honest. This is a place that does NOT try to nickel and dime you. Quality care for a fair price.”

From the moment I walked in the door I felt so welcomed and I knew my cat was in good hands. They were very upfront about the prices and worked with me to find the most affordable option to get him the care he needed. They even followed up with a phone call to check in and evaluate his treatment plan. I appreciate them so much and am so glad I found this place for him.”

“This is the absolute best most caring vet around. My husband and I truly cannot thank them enough. Back in June we had a tragic accident where our cat Rascal was bitten by a dog. This happened before this vet was open so we went to the emergency vet on Cary St. They were an absolute nightmare, demanded $4k before doing anything and suggested putting him down. We ended up at another emergency vet that was open and informed us he may be blind and may need one eye removed, said that time will tell about the eye but he will make it. The first opportunity we had we took him here (our regular vet) and they IMMEDIATLY came up with a game plan. They double checked everything and decided to stitch that one eye shut for a few weeks so he could have a chance of keeping it to avoid going through surgery. I was really hoping he wouldn't have to go through another healing process. Well thanks to this place he did not have to. The stitch plan worked and they did not charge us an arm and a leg, it was extremely fair. He may be blind but he has adapted so well its amazed us. He is the happiest cat and loves the adventures we take him on now with his harness/stroller. This place was the first one to really take action and gave their all to ensure he would have a good quality of life. Thank you Colonial Heights Animal Hospital staff for all you do.”

“Super affordable. Texted me updates during the pre op. Our two kitties ended up having ear mites and fleas. The total for rabies vax, neuter, ear mite meds, pain meds, and flea meds was only $105 per cat! Such amazing care and price. Will be taking all of my animals here! 15 stars”

“We have found an abandoned litter of kittens and called in a little bit of a panic. The staff was so friendly and helpful and gave us an appointment for the next day! I had called around and other vets couldn't see us for over a week... When we got there again, the staff was so friendly and kind. We saw Dr. Ingrid and she was absolutely amazing. She took time to answer all of her questions and we never felt rushed. So grateful to have found this caringclinic.”
“My dog Tres was urinating in the house. Even though I could not get an appointment for him for 3 days, they asked me to bring in a urine sample. Tres had a UTI and I was able to pick up antibiotics for him that day so we could work on stopping him urinating in the house the same day.
Tres had his appointment on Monday and they gave him medicine for a skin condition. The staff are always helpful and compassionate. I have been a customer of their's for more than 20 years.”

“I love this vet! I drive 30 minutes from Midlothian just to take my dog here for the last few years. Everyone is so sweet and so accommodating. It’s never a long wait and the pricing is very reasonable. The service is really good and I am always in and out very quickly. My dog does not love the vet, which is understandable, but I feel like she’s always happier after a visit. Sam always takes really good care of my dog Tally and Dr. James is a sweetheart. I highly recommend them and this vet. They definitely care about the animals like they are their own.”

“I have a rescue staffy who LOVES going to Boulevard Animal Hospital. Every time we go to the vet's, she thinks we're going to go hang out with her friends (especially Jenn and Jas, who are super sweet to her!!). From the moment we walk through the door, I feel like my dog is getting the best care and attention. We have been going to this practice since I first adopted Lily, which was about 2 years ago. We've seen Dr. Willis and Dr. Tisnado, both of whom are wonderful--very kind, patient, and thorough in their assessment, and they answer all my questions.
