One of my favorite store for over 25 years. Always clean and the staff is always friendly. I enjoy shopping here and know it will always be a pleasant experience. They are out of stuff very often, but it's good that they are busy.

This Food Lion in Windsor VA is the best ever!! Every team member I have encountered is friendly! They are helpful, and they always ask me if I found everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is scrumptious. It's such a nice store. Every dept. is #1. You won't be disappointed.

This is my food lion; been going here since I can remember, was even my first job. But things have taken a SERIOUS turn. The front people, or cashiers, are the face of the store and have the WORST attitudes toward customers. But stockers, people in the deli, the meat department, everywhere else SUPER nice. But something about these kids applying to be a cashier… they HAVE to hire them because no one wants to work, but those kids have the worst attitudes, are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Sophia, I believe her name was, young lady with long black curly hair, shoved my groceries into one another. My eggs were UNDERNEATH everything (mind you, I place my items on the belt how they should be bagged) she broke open my tomatoes, punctured my ice cream. And when I went up to exchange the ice cream, the elder woman cashier, who is usually very nice, jumped the gun on what I needed and was nasty and rude. She didn’t ask what I needed, just assumed and went, “I can’t do a return!” - but little did she know, I wasn’t there for a return. The manager, chris, seemed uninterested in my complaint, understandable; but folks, you’re getting paid to do this, you’re getting paid to find the right people to work this job. I’m giving two stars for the nice young man, who I think was in the deli this morning, he was very nice and had a wonderful smile: this will be the last time we shop at this food lion. It’s really a shame what this community has come to.Stop hiring people because you need bodies, the whole store will suffer.

The prices are absolutely insane at food Lion. They can't help that inflation is occurring. But the customer service is always wonderful you can also get money orders there and Lotto if you need to. There restrooms are always immaculate every single time I have been. Whether you are local or just traveling through stop on into food Lion and get some of your needs met there if you have them they also sell cigarettes too. I just want to thank you for the great experience I always have it food Lion regardless of the prices
