Before moving to Virginia from California, I began researching smaller “mom & pop” type pharmacies, as I find them more personable and efficient. RX-3 did NOT disappoint. Chris (the owner) is kind and knowledgeable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We just adore Judy at the front desk. They have never treated me like anything less than family, and their pharmacist Maria drove a prescription to my house on her own time when I was bedridden with Covid. No big name pharmacy would ever do that. I highly recommend them!

Always quick and efficient. Bob Fouche helped me withcompounded medication for my cat. He made sure I understood the instructions and I am so grateful for his help and patience.

If you are thinking about switching to compounded medication this is the easiest option. They are very prompt, delivery notices and careful detail to packaging. The customer service was AMAZING and I just cannot believe how wonderful the drivers, pharmacists and techs were. I would 100% Recommend.

The employees at the store front are very pleasant. However; after paying for and getting the results back for my wife's hormone test. It has been horrendous time trying to get a consultation to obtain an appropriate treatment plan. I faxed the information they requested. I have been calling for the past 4 days and left 5 -6 different voicemails and no one has called me back. The lady who is supposed to be doing the consult has not responded in any shape or form. Truly a saddening experience. I wish I knew of a competent person who could read the results and offer a treatment plan.Update. They have since contacted me and apologized. We were seen for a consultation. The lady helping us gave us a lot of information that will be very helpful in a treatment plan. The Pharmacist and counter workers are extremely nice. I think moving forward, a better messaging system would be helpful in contacting the people needed.

As others have noted, getting prescriptions filled, and especially refills, is a challenge. When web requests and phone calls failed, I was able to work with the pharmacist by email to get my refills moving. Now that email address is blocked so I now have my doctor call them in. Even then, that's not working either and I wind up running out of my daily medication.I don't normally like to write bad reviews, but I have attempted to reach out to this company directly using their email system. They respond that the email was received, but provide no status. I am now frustrated. Apparently I'm not alone.

I’m currently reading others posts and honestly I have no idea what they are talking about?? Ladies and gents, don’t even listen to them! Especially the ones prior! Clearly they’re delusional and “Karens”I get compounded meds for my kids (recently transferred from FL) and I always get them on time, with good communication and good customer service. I feel like people forget that compounded medication takes 24-48 hours or a bit more because either they have to order something or helloo, they may be a bit behind because they have to physically make it. They don’t have it in stock. Honestly people think a little before posting because it’s embarrassing. Even I have patience and I get meds for my kids and myself. Compounded might I add. If I had the owners info, I would definitely let them know that I appreciate them and that they are doing a good job. But really guys, my experience was great. Ignore those others comments. It feels like they weren’t patient to be honest. Just Karen’s. I just hate seeing locally owned business beaten down over a couple of ignorant people. Love this place and will continue to go! And I definitely recommend this to others!

My husband’s oncologist called in a prescription for Magic Mouthwash Wed so I called Thursday to make sure they had received it. The phone rang and rang and finally the clerk picked up sounded aggravated and after I told her what I needed she said Let me turn on my computer. Finally she said yes but it needed authorization to fill. I said I didn’t get a call, email or text to let me know that and she said we don’t do that. I asked how in the world I would know with no communication. After I authorized it I ask when will it be ready…..she said didn’t know.I got a text yesterday that it was ready so I went over today Friday. I told the clerk what I was picking up and she started looking on the computer. Another lady came in and the clerk asked her if her script right. The woman said no the dosage was wrong. At that point the clerk totally ignored me and started waiting on her without saying a word to me. So totally rude. Finally a man came forward from the back checked me out because I’m sure my face showed how pissed I was. Really bad experience.

If I could give a zero or negative I would. Vet called in my pets prescription a week before. I got NO notifications that it was even received, and they did didn't even fill it. I went today to try to get it filled and they barely cared. Literally just got to sit here and watch my pet die because they couldn't be bothered to fill her prescription. Even if not compounding on the weekend they still had all day Friday AND MONDAY.No to mention the complete carelessness of everyone on the phone I spoke to. So disgusted and heart broken I can't even put it into words.

This place is nicely stocked and the appearance of the store looks great.However, I didn’t like the performance of this place when I opted to utilize this pharmacy for the first time. They lagged in the aspect of filling my prescription in a timely manner. I’ve been in pain and could’ve used my medication sooner! I’m not a fan of waiting, especially when in pain (waited for over 24+ hours). I also had to call twice to check on my prescription status.I’d advise against using this pharmacy if you’re not willing to wait. With chain pharmacies, you can expect 1-hour wait times or at least by the end of the day for prescriptions to be filled. Providing an update(s) on prescriptions (communication) and promptly filling them is highly recommended (consideration)!

We had used them for years and everything was always great and then for a period of time things were not that great. They seem to have gotten their act back together.
