The girls there treat my baby like she is part of the family. My baby is actually excited to go back and get her nails done and even fusses at them if they don't speak to her and give her lovins.

The groomer understood the assignment, especially since PETSMART traumatized my dog last year by shaving him completely. She needed to shave just a little and she called me first and we talked about it.

Absolutely Horrible customer service. I was waiting for 30 minutes at the fish for assistance. The associates danced around to everybody else completely ignoring me even though I was there 10 minutes before anyone else. Plus the phone ringing off the hook didn't make for a peaceful shopping experience.

Please do better with taking care of the animals. Yesterday I arrived at your store around 5pm. 3 hours before closing. The ferrets cage was FILTHY. It had around 20 flies swarming inside and poop smeared all around the cage. I called the store and was told it just gets that way. No it doesn't. If you clean it regularly like you're SUPPOSED TO it does not. If you cleaned it earlier that day there would not be almost 30 flies harassing the pet. There would also not be dried up poop smeared around the glass. That's a big cage, and it was dried up for awhile. As a company as big as PETCO I would expect better. That's not normal, and an employee should not tell me that it is. It's actually neglect to the animals. I will be checking up regularly to see if anything changes. If not I'm reporting and taking photos to the higher up. Do better. It's sickening.

I visited this shop a few times while preparing my bird's habitat. Nearly every visit I have been greeted by employees in the store with offers to assist me. On my most recent visit a wonderful employee named Beth ( Matilda) greeted me in the store and also assisted me at the register. I was purchasing the final toys for my cage and my new conure . Beth could have just rung me up but she took the extra time to introduce me to the Vital Care program. She helped me navigate the app/website, showed me how to load my rewards, and located my coupons for the vital coupons which include 20% food and toys every time while enrolled in the program. I have spent so much money on all of my other pets and setting up my new cage, in this store before and this is tHe first time anyone has helped me learn more about this program. When it came time to collect my new feathered friend, Beth was so gentle with my bird Freddi. Speaking in a calm and soft voice, she really cared about making a comfortable transition for the pet. She gently wrapped the bird in a towel and offered to check and see if it needed their wings clipped. I declined but appreciated the offer in case I did want it. She gave me one of Freddi's old wooden toys so she would have something familiar in the cage. And explained that she would have to toss it because it can not be sanitized. Which means they have some sort of protocol for pet change over. Overall, I was so impressed and happy with my whole transaction.
