Good folks and better items than other hardware stores. It is now 2024 and have been buying from this store for years, and occasionally at the competition. This is still my favorite hardware store today!

Rhonda was very friendly and nice! She was extremely nice and provided us with excellent customer service! Brad also was very helpful in providing assistance in locating a very specific product. Brad also provided us with excellent product knowledge!

Scott in hardware was by far the best I’ve encounter going into stores such as Lowe’s. He was able to help me with exactly what I needed, while also giving me some knowledge for future issues; definitely will return here for future needs as well as recommending this store to family and friends. Decidedly hit or miss. DO NOT use their in-house financing, DO NOT expect help from customer service for basically anything, and DO NOT expect to find great lumber. (It's passable at best)
Some of the staff is very helpful and indeed quite knowledgeable, but then you get those that couldn't care less about helping you find what you're looking for.
Long story short, if you know what you're looking for, you're probably fine.

The garden center is not organized so that customers have access to carts for purchasing vegetable plants outside the store.. big mistake. I wonder how much doesn't get purchased. Do you care? Garden center needs both registers opened.

Unfortunately I had such a great experience in the paint department, I felt i would look into getting my floors, blinds, ac, faucets and toilets with them. I went to lowes at chester and met Nassir. he was so helpful. he told me who I needed to speak with and when they would be there. Day 2 I go at the time I was told and to my surprise Nassir is waiting for me in the flooring section. The person I was meant to meet had called out and he apologized. Luckily Wayne was there and helped me a little more, but they both instructed me to come back the next day to speak with the expert in those fields. Today I go to Lowes around 730am to speak with the expert. I get to the flooring section and there's another customer roaming the area, so I press the call button. 5 minutes go by so I decided to press it several more times. Another few moments go by and a gentleman approaches. I tell him who I am there to see and he says he will call her. He calls and then says the phone is on do not disturb....his words not mine. so then he pages her over the intercom and he walks off. I wait another few minutes....roughly 5 to 7 then I walk away. As I'm leaving a different gentleman approaches and asked if I had been helped. I told him who I was waiting for and how I wanted to get work done with them and he offers to page her again. I said there was no need. On my way out I decided to tell a supervisor who then offered to page said employee...I told her with this being my 3rd day there and not able to be helped, I'm no longer interested in working with them. I will go to Home depot or empire. smh.

This review is for Jim Smith in the appliances department.
Jim was very helpful and patient and answered all of my questions. He helped me narrow down a washer and dryer and also helped answer many questions about refrigerators.
