We all know Walmart is a cesspool and I sincerely wish there were an alternative when you wait too late to order from Amazon (never thought I'd miss Kmart). I was in a time crunch with family coming in to help with some projects around the house. Against my better judgment, rather than getting my food items one place and my cleaning supplies another, I gave Walmart a chance . Never again. I ordered my shopping for pick up at 2:30PM and was given a pick up time between 8-9pm. I should have known then to cancel since my Costco order was ordered at the same time and was delivered before 5pm and they are 30 mins away. When we arrived at Walmart at 8:20 PM, no one answered the pickup number from the sign. No one answered at any of the departments inside either. We flagged down a bag boy who went to a very slovenly dressed young man who asked my name then showed me a blank screen and said "it ain't here". I asked what that meant since I had confirmation my order was indeed taken. He just stared at me and said "yeah but it ain't here". I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and he said "naw, they left" . I asked if he could find out what was going on and he said "naw, ain't nothing I can do". I was flabbergasted. I said does this mean my order is not being fulfilled? He said come back tomorrow. WHAT????? My husband went into the store and after finally getting to a customer service person , found out the picker had just left. Did not finish the shift, just took off. That would have been helpful information for the one young fellow who was delivering pick up items. Instead he was bewildered and seemed either high on something or truly ignorant of the process. The next morning I got notified that part of my order was ready. Out if 42 items I got 38 (no explanation of what I did not get) Some of which were wrong and the substitutions they gave for a few items were not acceptable to me. Who replaces dust cloths for dusting with a car wash cloth?????? I was charged for items I did not get. It was really a horrible experience and I have left out much of the story . NEVER again. Walmart may not care, but no more Christmas shopping, no more groceries, no more online. It's not worth it. The employees do not care, the store is filthy and I feel I need a shower whenever I walk in there. Publix, Target, and Amazon are it for me. Goodbye Walfart.

The second Walmart I've been to in 2 days and the same bs at this location too. So my Mom wanted to TV shopping. We ended up at this location. Once we got to the electronics department she found a TV she was interested in. I noticed a black gentleman and I tried to get his attention. He finally comes over to us and I asked him about the tv that was on display that my Mom was interested in that particular one. He looks behind the stack of TVs. Then he points to a TV in a green box and says that's the one. Ok he NEVER offers to help put the TV in the cart. Just walks off. Never ask is there any thing else you need. If I didn't know any better I would think he didn't want to help us from the start. So I place the TV in the cart she wanted to look for the streaming section. Looking around there was a young white lady standing at the counter she never once speak nor ask do you need any help finding something. I finally found the streaming aisle. But I had a question so I walk down the aisles looking for someone anyone to ask but it seemed like every associate in electronics hauled out cause they didn't want to deal with the customers. My mom said if she had've seem a manager she would've complained because it's really a shame to spend your hard earned money at a business and you get Poor Customer Service. If he didn't want to work today then maybe he should've called out.

This Walmart store is the VERY worst of any Walmart I've ever been in. The store is dirty, and the employees are lazy and rude. The Grocery section side of the store is tolerable, but the rest of the store is a mess. Dirty, poorly stocked, and it seems that this store manager enjoys seeing long lines waiting to check out. Opening up a new register to alleviate long lines is out of the question. I needed to go to "The Money Center". It was open, but no employees were available to help me. I tried calling the store manager (Wes) but no one would answer the phone. The Pharmacy is poorly staffed and rude, regardless of how many people are waiting, they close and go to lunch. I closed my Walmart Pharmacy account and had my doctor send ALL of my medical prescriptions to Kroger, which where I now do ALL of my shopping. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you catch my "drift". I would have actually given this store NO STARS, but I wasn't able to. I urge everyone in the area to go to either Target or Kroger until this Walmart store gets its act together.

This Walmart is absolutely disgusting. Only about 50% of the people in the store are wearing masks correctly, including the staff. Only come here if you want to come out covered in COVID. Besides, it was filthy. Never again.

It's WalMart! It seems like every Walmart has bad reviews. Hey there's even a website dedicated to the crazy things people wear to Walmart. I see Memes about the lack of registers and the way things are piled on the shelves. Of course what are you going to expect when you come in here?! ... The lines were tremendously long but I did overhear several customer service managers talking about how they had about 10 people call out of work. So obviously they're short staffed the day I went... it was frustrating standing in such a long line for a long period of time but if they're short staffed there's nothing they can really do. (I would consider hiring more dependable people of course!) The place is a mess, but if you also look at it a lot of customers will throw random stuff on shelves that they don't want anymore because they don't want to walk all the way back to the department they got them from and put it back where it belongs. I did see people and departments working hard to stock shelves, and keep their area clean. The only thing that truly frustrated me was when I went to layaway to pay off my layaway items the manager (It's what her tag stated!!) rolled her eyes, and complained to another associate next to her but she didn't feel like going out to get the layaway items but she would be back. Sorry I made you get my layaway items that I paid for that probably went towards YOUR paycheck so you can buy things you want/need. I'm sure she got stuck being over there because maybe somebody called out, but if you don't like doing that job then maybe quit and go somewhere else that you would like.

When it comes to Wal-mart what can you say, they all seem the same, this store seems decent as compared to the one in Colonial Heights. The problem with their stores and certainly this one, is that they don't seem to age well and they take their prices for granted. If you go to Wal-Mart thinking they have the best prices on groceries, they don't. I use to spend the majority of my grocery money here, but this location has lots of competition when it comes to groceries. I know where I live in Chester I have 7 grocery stores within 10 minutes of my home. I do still shop here but I try to avoid it. It doesn't seem very clean, or well kept, it takes them a long time to restock items. Meat prices are outrageous, I buy no meat here. Of course their selection is great , if you need to buy other items at the same time as groceries, and I have found people working here to be helpful and friendly. But if you're going here for groceries, which use to be my main reason for going , try the newer stores in the area.

Overall a decent Walmart with all the expected offerings and decor. As compared to other Walmarts in my experience this one lacks in its hours as well as is often overcrowded, making it a bit hectic to check out one's items. Beyond that it is relatively conveniently located and has a good stock of items.

This Walmart has hardly no staff or a lot of people call out. Not enough registers are open. They have 2 Speedy Checkouts one is open and the other they close between 8-8:30pm. The ones that wear the yellow vest should help out instead of standing around.

The only reason this rating is 2 stars versus 1 star is because the location of the store is not in a bad area - but I've been to Walmart's in MUCH rougher and poorer areas that I've been more pleased with than this one. Employees are far from helpful, the store is a mess any and every time of day, the parking lot is a disaster, I could go on. I ordered a bathing suit online that I had to go pickup from another Walmart and that bathing suit was broken - the underwire was poking out the side. So I had to come to this store since it's unfortunately the closest one and return it. The highlight of my visit yesterday was I was told I could not bring my baby in the dressing room with me so I could try on another bathing suit. What the heck was I supposed to do with my 6 month old baby?! So I had to buy the bathing suit and try it on at home, only to find out it was indeed too small. So I came BACK today to try on a bigger size and the store smelled awful, the dressing room area was overcrowded with people, the employee was not managing her tasks well, and the fitting room I was in was covered in bathing suit pieces and goldfish crumbs. I'm not coming back to this store, needless to say.

Rarely come here anymore unless I need something for a trip or something that's newly released. ---In mid April I needed a water proof phone pouch. Found one on the Walmart website that would work so I went in to buy one. The lady in electronics couldn't it, I couldn't find it, and she even said that they might be up front towards the registers. Why? Out of all places it would be, why would it be up front? Walked up to another lady (who was stocking and back stocking batteries) who pointed me over to the accessories. The pouch was with the beach totes. But it was a cheap, not good quality $3 phone pouch. Didn't get it, thinking that a ZipLoc bag would work better. Went to Target instead and got what I wanted. ---Early May, an artist released a new album/ CD. And once again they didn't have it in stock (I understand its in high demand considering the item is brand new). But the problem was that the lady (Leslie) stocking in electronics (when I asked if they have back stock on CDs) stated that they don't do back stock/ extras in the back of DVDs/ CDs (thought she was either joking or just lying). Why don't they have extras? I work retail at a grocery store and even we do back stock on new released items and gift cards. Anyways, I left AGAIN with my money and went to Target AGAIN. ---Lastly, I don't feel comfortable walking around at this store location alone. I've had other customers try grabbing at me and try pulling me into an aisle. Even had people eyeball my car while I was getting out of it (they were trying to see if I was going to leave it unlocked or not). Have higher security standards. If something happens to someone there, it will be on the news for everyone to see and it won't leave the store a good reputation.
