I worked here and it was super unprofessional. Drama filled and emotional management. I witnessed abuse and the management judged me instead for my approach. Do not send your children here. Too many young people without experience

We called to check for availability. They said they had spots open but when we went to register they said it would be six months.

I scheduled a tour at the Chester Childtime location and on the day of the tour (today) I (using my lunch break) along with my husband (who took the day off) and our daughter arrive and the staff appeared lost as though they had no clue that the tour was happening. The lady then proceeds to tell us that they don’t have any availability in their toddler class. No recognition of the scheduled tour and a complete waste of my family’s time. Then they say that we can try another a Childtime location that is open until 5. Come again! I scheduled this a week before and have gotten a telephone and text message confirmation. Needless to say I’ll never look at another Childtime. But I’m glad to have learned this lesson before giving them a dime.

My heart is so broken at what I witnessed at this daycare. The assistant director, Shayla was arguing with a mom about paying 15 dollars for being 5 minutes late. This poor mom went back to her car with her child and was in tears. I get policies but where is the human factor. At least have the decency to have this conversation with the parent in private and not in front of other parents. I’m sure this post will get a response to call customer support but if a person like this is able to work at this establishment, there is nothing that customer support can do for us parents about this treatment. Train your people!

I called and scheduled a virtual tour with Childtime of Chester for Friday, no one got one the call. When I called the office the young lady that answered said the director went to lunch. So I scheduled another meeting for Monday and again no one got the virtual call. I called the daycare and the director answered the phone. I asked her was anyone going to get on the call she rudely responded “Didn’t they tell you I was at capacity when you scheduled this tour?”. I have never been to this establishment and I probably would never. She seems very unprofessional and I’m sure she wasn’t going to get on the call this time either. Go Elsewhere!!

Childtime Chester VA, is a place that don’t care to handle your concerns. They have cameras and cameras don’t lie. If you want a safe, reliable and honest environment to care for your child this is not the place for him or her. Childtime have employees that doesn’t have patience, Childtime only care about covering their backs without all honesty.

This “business” has no care nor human decency for its emily. They are extremely unprepared for medical emergencies. There is little to NO training for undiagnosed health conditions/ emergencies for its employees and children. It’s practically a death sentence to send your children here. My sister had an asthma attack, couldn’t breathe, and then started throwing up and THEY CALLED THE NON-EMERGENCY number! They couldn’t even let us know what hospital she was going to, because no one asked. They didn’t even look at her emergency contact. From my knowledge, the staff only has training for children that suffer from seizures. This place is awful.

First I would like to say that my child is happy here. On the other hand, the communication is terrible. Prices ang hours change on a whim and are not listed correctly on the website. Staff can be unprofessional at times as well, but not always. not a very good experience for me. The only pluses are that my child feels safe there and they are good with potty training.

This is hands down the best daycare in the area. Staff are extremely caring, patient, and professional. My son runs into the center each morning because he is that excited to be there. This is our first daycare experience and Ms. Nikki definitely made the process super easy and stress free.

They steal from you. My kids attended for months, their teachers were great. However when they reopened after the pandemic they began automatically withdrawing payments from my account, when my kids were not enrolled.. They said they would immediately reimburse me, it has been months and they keep saying the check is in the mail. Now nobody responds to my phone calls, I get put on hold, and the occasional time someone does they say the check is still in the mail.Don't seem to actually have any intention of reimbursing money they did not earn.

The Assistant Director K. Cole is unpleasant and incompetent. When asking for a copy of my paperwork the center claimed was provided to me and signed by me…I was advised the so called paperwork was destroyed in a recent flood. Definitely seems like a cover up for documents they simply do not have because I never signed them. (SO is this building even up to code?) I went to drop my children off today and was told I have to fill out paperwork or my children could not stay. I asked if I could fax over the paperwork or is there a digital option. I was told I have to fill it out right then and there….I was late for work due to this. The assistant Director advised me she had to watch me fill out the paperwork when I asked for space and privacy. She refused to give me space. I NEVER experienced anything like this in my life. My children are being withdrawn from this center because I cannot tolerate what I’ve experienced today going forward. On top of it all I have to resubmit my children immunization records and birth certificates. It’s too much of a hassle and not worth the stress of dealing with a rude staff member.

It is a great place for your child at any age. I love the pictures and notifications they send throughout the day. The staff is friendly and the arts and crafts are sooo cute!

I have been using this facility, on and off, for about five years now with absolutely zero issues or concerns. My son started when he was two and went everyday until he started elementary school. He absolutely loved attending and even now, on occasion, he has attended the before and after school program. He would ask me to pick him up later so he can stay and do crafts, or play with his friends. My daughter who is now three started when she was 6 months old. She loves all of her teachers and has learned so much over the years. All of the staff are kind, loving, approachable and you can tell they really love the children. I would highly recommend this school.

I own/operate a small company which provides entertainment and education for children. So as you can imagine, I provide my services to many many childcare centers around the Richmond area. This allows me to see and experience the daily operations and staff at these centers. This Childtime located on Old Lane is one of the best. I see the care and attention given to the children by the staff, as well as the behavior of the children at this location is exceptional. I would recommend this center based on my observations there. It is an outstanding childcare center!
