Great day skating. Skateland makes skating fun, dances and games. It's a place to bring the family or for a birthday party. The building is dated but they keep it up and it was clean. It is not expensive for a fun time out for the prices things are these days. So go and have fun.

It is amazing if you win a game you can get a pass to go there again for free or you can get a pass to get a free drink

The lines were ridiculous - one person letting people in and we had to wait 15 min just to get through the door.It was sooo crowded and there were way too many of the skate assists on the floor - you could barely get around them. There were also way too many speed skaters and management did very little to slow them down. One guy flipped over a little kid and knocked her down. Management didn’t even get involved - just let him keep speed skating and bumping into people. One person was running concessions and it took 20 min to get a couple of drinks. There should be a drink vending machine. The only positive is that the floor was freshly done and smooth. Not sure I would go back.

It’s a Thursday (family skate night) and a nightmare!!! Floor is so crowded and no one managing the crowd. Small kids falling, no one getting them up. Bigger kids going way too fast. Lots of assist devices going all different directions with kids literally crossing against the flow or even backwards. Spoke with management to no avail. Only gave 3 stars because they finally fixed the floor.

Wednesday adult night was a ok with my lady nice vibe but as far as the DJ/Music was trash. I understand it’s Adult Night but it’s ok to switch it up to some up to date RnB or Pop. playing music from 30/40 years ago kills the whole experience

Edit for response: this was March 26th, last night. When I first came in, a child & lady who was deaf/hard of hearing but had hearing aids was in front of us - she didn’t seem to be able to speak back. The lady in the ticket window seemed very rude to her as she kept assuming 2 skaters. The customer would hold 1 finger up and the lady would wait a moment as the customer searched for her card. The woman again said ‘SO 2 SKATERS TONIGHT?’ Then the customer, again, held up 1 finger. The woman asked, again, before then clicking the 1 finger held up again while holding her card that she only had one skater (the child). The customer didn’t know how to use the card reader either and seemed annoyed with that, and with a rude tone kept telling her where her card at. Instead of growing super frustrated, she should have offered a more friendly tone or ask for clarification if she was confused what the customer meant ? you couldn’t see her hearing aids well but it doesn’t always mean people are being rude/ignoring you! Some people cannot converse in return! It was a disappointing interaction to come in and see. Also getting the skates the older lady wouldn’t accept me telling her what my size was in men’s - she literally told me ‘no’ when I said a size 7 in men’s. She waited for me to say a 9 ‘probably’ in women’s with the response of ‘there you go!’. If you can figure a men’s skate size when a masculine male says a size, you can figure it out if someone else who is not super masculine does too. Overall, some of the people need customer service lessons here and doesn’t make a very welcoming environment imo. Won’t be returning.

I come here every weekend with a group of friends just to hang out, and some workers had an attitude. I also tried the pizza there it tasted really good but my stomach has been hurting for 3 days and don’t have a appetite I don’t recommend eating the pizza.

Floor is not marked, rough in places and music selection is lacking (lots of repeats and songs cut out in the middle to skip to a song played 5 mins ago, etc.), not to mention actual COMMERCIALS throughout the session, as though they just play music through YouTube or use a free subscription to a streaming service. I heard a Liberty Mutual ad! Like ffs I come here to get away from that kind of thing. Will likely not return specifically because of this, extremely annoying and ruined the experience.Edit: I've been reading the other reviews and I am APPALLED by the owner's responses to the bad ones (but the good ones Warm Their Hearts). There is no way to report them so I'm editing my review to call them out. Several of the responses made me literally gasp with how overtly rude and condescending they are. I implore anyone considering attending this place to go through and read what the owner thinks of the patrons. Absolutely inappropriate and extremely unprofessional. No wonder people complain about it so much.Even if I'd had no problems there myself I would never go back because of the rudeness alone. One can only hope that the owner eventually has some sort of realization that maybe.... JUST maybe... the bad experiences ARE the rink's fault and they should address and improve the things people repeatedly mention as issues and just be decent human beings instead of berating their customers for legitimate issues. Just a thought.

It's a pretty regular skating ring, the only one in the surrounding area which makes it pretty packed when it is opened. The only issue I have with this skating ring, which makes me give it a one star, was that you had parents there just trying to teach their kids how to skate and were told that they were to just let their kids do it themselves unless the parent put on skates. Now it isn't like these parents had on high heels or anything that could scratch the floor, just normal tennis shoes. I have tried to look up to see if tennis shoes can damage a roller-skating ring and literally found nothing on the matter. Also, all the parents, including myself, were on the outside perimeter of the ring, nowhere near where anyone was skating. We were out there for over an hour and not even bothering anyone. You have people in there skating so fast and little children learning to skate that the two do not mix, and why someone would just shrug their shoulders and tell you that they are to just skate by themselves without your child's safety in mind is truly mind-blowing. If it is such a big issue, they should have a ring for bigger kids/adults and then a separate ring for smaller children learning to skate so that they won't be so scared to be out there on their own. They did mention that they have days where its not as packed which was nice to know, but why should my child or anyone else's child miss out on a random day to get out the house and go skating. If parents are just trying to teach their kids to skate and stay on the outside boarder, it should be acceptable.

No floor guard after about 15 minutes, kids with ice in bag and sodas on the floor. Adult was on the floor with street shoes almost the whole session. Kids fall on the floor and stay for extended periods of time and kids going the wrong way most of the time. 1st and last time going. Been to rinks all over the world for over 40 years and this was by far the worst. To be fair, it may have been the session but won’t be going back to find out. Drove over an hour to get there.

Maybe it was the night but this was the most chaotic rink I have been to in my 30+ yrs of skating. No rink guards, people with drinks on the floor and a girl skating with a bag of ice melting all over the floor. Was not worth the 1.5 hour drive here. Very disappointed.

Love this skate rink. Our family enjoys the skate lessons and public skate sessions. The staff are personable and welcoming.
