Constant prescription issues. Nothing is ever right. Long lines all the time and been on the phone for 25 minutes just to verify they are using the correct fax number to the Dr. All they do is answer the phone and hang back up keeping me on hold. I'm bring totally ignored...

Pharmacy is a total mess, everyone is taking breaks or on their phones!, head pharmacist sitting out front by the sliding door smoking and on his phone while a line forms inside being told all their prescriptions are not filled yet. What a shit show.

This Walgreens location has consistently provided poor service in the pharmacy department. The drive thru lane moves extremely slow & is inefficient, when you're simply needing to pickup medication.

Pharamacy does a great job, for being as busy as they are! Posted signs indicate that pharmacies are falling in line with the "remote" trend, many "standard" Rx will be filled and verified elsewhere, then sent here. Pharmacist could not find my vaccine appointment even though I had my confirmation number. She could not have been more apologetic, and I know that's a function of technology and not human error. Still, be EARLY for appointments, because they wil almost certainly be a line! And plan ahead to drop off Rx to pick up later. Be kind to staff, y'all!

This pharmacy has been consistently understaffed or staffed for several years, with workers stuck in sleepy mode and suffering from burnout. They seem to be on top of getting their breaks on time though! You will frequently be met with long lines and wait times inside and in the drive-thru lane. Times often exceed 30 to 45 minutes. There have been times {recently] that after receiving a call or text that the prescription is ready, only to find out after a long wait in drive-thru that only part of it is ready. Let's just say this location sucks! It's faster to cancel the prescription, have your Dr. move it to another pharmacy down the street [any brand], and pick it up there.

This pharmacy department is bad. You wait for a half hour on the phone to talk to somebody and then they hang up on you. Happened twice in the past and three times today. When you do get someone to talk to, they have no idea what they are doing or just don't care. I had two prescriptions to be filled, an inhaler and a heart drug. I asked them to cancel the inhaler because my doctor sent in a replacement prescription that would cost me less with my insurance. They didn't cancel it, they cancelled the heart medicine instead. They also can't find the replacement prescription that the doctor sent. They told me I had a $2000 deductible when it is only $150. I reported them to Optima Insurance, since they are a preferred provider for Optima. Optima needs to drop Walgreens like a hot potato! If I could give them zero stars, I would. VERY POOR PERFORMANCE. Tried to speak to the store manager. Not available.

Waited over an hour for a scheduled flu shot and ended up just leaving. Go to Rite Aid. Any Rite Aid. They were way more efficient and attentive. This Walgreens was not worth the frustrating one hour wait.

Definitely not impressed. Waited in line forever for a scheduled flu shot only to be told they don't contract with my insurance. Drive down the street to Rite Aid. In and out in 5 minutes.....with my flu shot!

This place is ghetto. Just ghetto. Computer systems not working most of the time and the pharmacy is never on duty at 9 am as outlined in the hours on line.

The worst and slowest pharmacy I've ever encountered in my life. I've been sitting in the pharmacy line for covid testing (with appointment, needed for travel) for 40 minutes and counting. We haven't even made it to the window yet and we're already coming up on an hour. And can't go in for faster service due to covid testing store policy. Ridiculous.

I always get great service at this store. In particular the pharmacy staff has always taken care of me very professionally. I really appreciate all their efforts. Thank you so much!

This Walgreens on 1316 Battlefield Ave. is absolutely disgusting!! Inside the store looks like shit!! The floors are nasty and how management could let that be is beyond me! Outside of the store is equally disturbing trash all over the parking lot it has not been policed in what looks like in months!!

This is a pretty decent pharmacy. The staff is always warm and friendly and operates in an efficient manner. I appreciate that the pharmacist is always willing to take time to answer my questions. Prescriptions are usually ready when they say they will be though the frequency of out of stock delays has increased significantly over the past couple years. I enjoy using their Android app or website to refill prescriptions or check my prescription history. I also appreciate contactless payments when picking up prescriptions inside the store, I just tap the terminal with my phone which activates Google Pay as well as my rewards card. It's so much more convenient than digging in my wallet for a credit card and my rewards card. When picking up at the drive-through window I just use their "Express Pay" which automatically activates payment from my stored credit card. This location is convenient for me as I pass by it every day on my way to and from my job. When I started using this Walgreen Pharmacy many years ago, the store and pharmacy were both open 24 hours. Several years ago they cut back the pharmacy hours by closing it at midnight while the store was still open 24 hours. Over the past few years they have steadily been reducing their hours of operation for both the store and pharmacy. Currently the store is open daily from 6am to midnight. Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 6pm, Sunday from 10am to 6pm. The reduced hours have really had a negative impact on the convenience factor for me. I won't dwell on the rest of what the store offers because most everyone is familiar with modern pharmacy store chains. Suffice it to say they have the usual selection of health and beauty products plus household goods, children's toys. some small consumer electronics, basic office supplies, pet supplies, etc... They also have a selection of basic groceries items. There are no fresh meats or produce but plenty of frozen items, bread, milk, lots of candy and snacks as well as wine and beer. There is also a photo shop that shares the same schedule as the rest of the store. You can get prints, photo cards, or passport pictures. Walgreens offers a rewards card that gets you some money back, this can add up some savings if you regularly fill prescriptions here. There is also a weekly ad featuring promotional items and coupons.Parking is more than adequate in their large private lot, the lot is well maintained and always free of debris. The store is always clean and well-organized. Someone almost always greets me as soon as I walk through the front door. The friendly staff keeps me coming back. My original review was four stars but on this update I have reduced my score to three stars due to the reduced hours of operation and increased frequency of prescriptions being out of stock or otherwise delayed.
