Michael in the pharmacy department is so sweet and caring. He personally called me to make sure that I wasn’t allergic to a medication I was newly prescribed. I know that the pharmacy is understaffed and it meant a lot that he took the time to call and double check.

The prices for their merchandise could be a bit cheaper but I'm not as concerned about that as i am about how their pharmacy's management is not doing well when it comes to refilling medications that are not controlled. I say this because I've decided I'm transferring to the Lawrence Pharmacy that's next door to them because even though I was signed up to get text reminders long ago and I'm on automatic refills, it started to stop mattering how close it was for it to be time for refills so that's why I ran out of my anti-anxiety/depressant meds and had to suffer from withdrawal symptoms of nausea and headaches. I even walked into the pharmacy and got a hold of the pharmacist and he said that there was "nothing on record" that showed there needed to be a refill and just said they would let me know when it was ready even after I explained everything that had happened. It's been a few weeks after I spoke to the pharmacist not including the days beforehand where I waited as patiently as I could to see if Walgreen's would contact me saying that my prescriptions were ready for pickup. When I had to reschedule my doctor's appointment after hearing she was under the weather, I asked the lady who called me who was at fault for the lack of response to my prescriptions needing to be refilled and she confirmed it had to do with the pharmacy I'm with. She said that it could have something to do with the pandemic or maybe it doesn't. I figured I would ask her if it would make any difference to switch over to the Lawrence pharmacy and she said it might but couldn't say for sure. I already sent a request for two medications to be sent to the Lawrence pharmacy so.. to be continued..

I have been to this Walgreens countless times. They always have everything you need from snacks, toiletries, travel supplies, baby diapers and food. Staff is always welcoming and so friendly that we have gotten to know some of them. I have used the pharmacy a few times here and I appreciate that the pharmacist is very knowledgeable and takes their time to warn you of drug-drug interactions or contraindications if you are a breastfeeding mother. They do develop photos at this location, have a Redbox outside and also have a drive-thru pharmacy. Don't forget to grab their Walgreens advertisement paper right when you walk in for coupons. If you sign up for their Walgreens reward program you can also earn points on every purchase which you can redeem for cash off of your total receipt. They do have a bathroom on site and they always have a nice selection of toddler toys, especially during holidays. We will continue to spend our money at this location.

The is my home walgreens best group of employee....The pharmacy manager Nicole is the best pharmacist that I've every meet, have been dealing with this location for 20 plus years. She always advising me on my meds and anything of my pharmacy needs...This store is always neat and clean. The employees are very helpful if you needs assistance. Had a opportunity to meet the new store manager he's very nice and personable...a very hard work worker,he's always busy stocking or assisting in different area of the store. I highly recommend this location and love receiving my balance rewards and points. We where also able to attach our aarp card for additional savings.

This used to be my go to drug store but over the years the customer service has declined tremendously. There have been so many new hires and fires in the last two years it's ridiculous. I point that out because it seems they hire anyone without proper vetting then when they start their customer service is horrible. I had a cashier have personal conversations with her friend whom she was ringing up regarding who she was having relations with and who her baby daddy was (her exact words not mine). She was even holding the line up speaking to this person after she had checked them out so when I said something to get her attention and get the line moving she got snippy with me and gave me nothing but attitude. I even asked to speak with the manager and she refused to call for them and another associate came over to be nosy and offered no assistance. So I reported it to management via phone and nothing happened because the next week I came back and the same inappropriate conversations were being held while I was in line with children smh. So I stopped driving to this location. I also don't like that when you make a return they have the option of putting it on a gift card or giving you your money back so I always have to be sure that I'm confident in my purchase before it's complete otherwise it will be a hassle to make a return. My recommendation would be for them to hire less ghetto, immature people.
