All I needed was an unactivated sim card to install in my company laptop so the company I work for could activate it. The check-in guy asked what I needed and I told him. He asked why the store couldn't activate it, and I told him that our company wireless team had to activate it. He went in the back for a few minutes and then came out and asked for a phone number on the account. I told him I had to get my laptop out of the car. He made sure I was checked in. When I came back in, someone called my name, but I assumed the other guy was working with me, so I told her that. After about 20 minutes he finished helping a sales person with a customer and asked me if I had been helped. I told him no because I said I was working with him. He said he is just the check-in guy and anyone could have helped me, but he appeared to be helping me. After giving him the company name, showing him the laptop, showing him it has a cellular card with no SIM card, giving him my supervisor's name, he went in back again for a few minutes. He came out and asked for a phone number on the account again. Earlier he said the SIM card costs money and is only free if the store activates it, so I asked how much the SIM card costs. He told me he couldn't sell me a SIM card and that I would have to go to another Verizon store to get it. I told the company IT guy and he said he has never had anyone ask for a phone number or act like this, indicating it is a specific store issue and not a corporate issue.

I had the best experience with a very patient and persistent employee named Kayla! She helped transfer data from a water damaged iPhone to a replacement iPhone. She was incredibly attentive to my process along with multiple other customers at the same time while exemplifying excellent time management, customer service, and problem solving. Kayla knows her stuff!!! Thank you!.

The gay guy working denied service for me because I didn’t purchase a product from this exact store. I ended up going to another Verizon store after and they helped me no questions asked. No wonder this location can't even get 4 stars.

I've been there three times in 2 days. After being a customer of verizon for over 20 years I can say this is the worst experience I've had. It wasn't just that they couldn't assist me it was the manner in which they treated me that is upsetting. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because I was upset and frustrated but was made to feel so insignificant and not worthy of their effort and time and treated very condensingly. So disappointing!!!

Update 5/10/24:
I usually love the customer service in this store. However last week I came in to change my number from one area code to another bc when I got the extra phone and line last year it was free to me so I was giving it to my parent who lives in NC and wanted that area code. The lady who helped me never said it was charge to change numbers. Now when I look at bill instead of changing the phone number it made it seem like she added a new line so now I have five lines and I shouldnt. And it's charging me a $35 activation fee and a new plan. Now I had to go through the inconvenience of calling to talk customer service bc when I came in the store the lady manager on Saturday was rushing and not listening to what I was telling her. And my bill has gone up almost $100 and I'm fighting with customer service online and at this point I'm ready to switch my phone service and internet and TV from Verizon to someone else.
It is rare to find great Customer service now a days. But the employees at 1224 Greenbrier were awesome!! Everyone in there was very friendly and helpful. I worked with Doug, Ashley and Deviana the most and they were excellent and provided excellent service. I was with Verizon for a long time but switched to sprint recently bc of there cheap package price but hated it so Deviana helped me with switching back to Verizon and I didn't have the second phone on me and she was off the next day but she made sure I was taken care of with Ashley and she was really excellent too. I also signed up for fios with Doug and each and everyone of them gave excellent explanations of everything and provided the best service. It was refreshing!! Other staff was very helpful and checked in on me too but just didn't catch their names. You guys have a great team. Thank you!

Worked out a deal to update watch. Given price, signed contract. Left store, wife looked online, different price. Was so not happy. First month an extra $55.00 after an extra $30.00. Went back to store and spent nearly 3 hours. Found out Trevor had deleted old plan. And newer version did not give nearly the same discount. But issue was finally resolved.
I did however observe several salespersons assisting others with big issues. So I forgive Trevor and his Manager for not following my initial instructions of just replacing my watch with a newer one. However, you must insist that they not change your contract until everything is VERIFIED. And 'upselling' as was done is very deceitful and wrong. So buyer beware. But know with due diligence and perseverance you can get things done appropriately.

Quick service, took care of my problem
and showed me how to take care of my minor situation.
Went through the process with me to make sure I understood how to avoid it. Took me less than 15 minutes & on my way
They told me to come back anytime with
any problems, big or small, also gave me
his business card & shook my hand ?

On Jan. 12, 2024, my fiancée’ & I visited the Verizon store located on Greenbrier Pkwy in Chesapeake, Va. JASMINE was our sales rep. I added my fiancée’ to my account & purchased the new I-phone 15 w/ a trade-in credit. Jasmine had our new I-Phone 15 sent by FedEx or UPS to her store with her name to sign, however she called out sick on the delivery date & our new phone was “returned”. The next day, Jasmine calls me at work in the afternoon to advise she will check our shipping status. I let her know “don’t bother” as our phone has been returned & to cancel our new order. I also immediately texted Jasmine the same thing. Without my consent, Jasmine reordered the phone now to my mother’s mailing address (which I never received). In the aftermath, by normal bill went from $90 per month to $408.78. I even got charged a $95 “disconnect fee” for a phone I never authorized to reorder nor did I ever receive it. She also charged me an “upgrade fee” for my fiancée’ older model I-Pad I put on my plan. She told both of us that our next bill would be $220 plus an additional $50 for “one-time” transfer of phone info. Her unscrupulous behavior & deceitful conduct is a very negative reflection on Verizon. Please beware, DO NOT TRUST JASMINE! Totally dishonest!!!

This store is incompetent. We started phone plans in August. We traded in two phones and two iPads. They lost one of our phones now 5 months later after going back 3 separate times we are on the hook for $1,000. No one seems to want to help and we keep getting the run around.
