Ms. Tia was very pleasant, and her customer service was on point. She smiled and was very friendly and assisted me with my passport. There was a long line, and she was super friendly with everyone who came in. She was so patient with everyone and had a smile when she greeted everyone and including families.
The hours were from 1000 to 1100. There was a sign in sheet for walks in, and she took care of personal with appointments first. There was a sign posted letting everyone know.
Tia did her job well, helping everyone with a smile. I definitely recommend her to others.

Overall, had a great experience. I know with the Post Office it does depend on the representative and day, but we dropped off 20 big shipments (350 packages) of military care packs headed overseas for my work at Troopster and this Post Office was nice, helpful and went above and beyond to make it easy for us.
Their postal rep Chelsea Powell was also great, and even though we had a lot to ship, she helped us out and made this a really good Post Office experience.

I went in yesterday with my service dog and they tried to deny me entrance because “the customers might be afraid of him” I told the woman that that’s doesn’t matter and she cannot deny me access anymore the any other customer according to the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act. She then said that he had to have some kind of identifying jacket or leash in order to be there. I again stated the thADA says he does not.
She spoke with the manager and told me I had to leave. I asked to speak to the manager and showed them a card with the ADA can do and can’t do policy. When he finally came out so see me he was very rude and matter of fact lay told me that I had to have a vest on my dog or I would not be allowed in the next time. He told me that Virginia state laws says my service dog has to have a vest. I showed him the ADA service dog website where it states he does not. He stated again the Virginia law and so I as,Ed him which law over ride the other? State or Federal?

literally just left seconds ago, the odd short one with the dry red 27 piece has the attitude and temper capacity of an actual 2 year old. I don’t recommend dealing her if you can avoid it. She tried got smart with me in the time span of 2 seconds because of something SHE misunderstood. and when the question came back around, she realized i did in fact tried to confirm that’s what she asked.
she looked even more doltish than she did the first time.
h8 this location and they live up to their reputation, sucks to suck you picked this job.

I recently visited the Chesapeake post office North Battlefield, and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience with the staff behind the counter.
From the moment I entered, it was evident that the atmosphere was unwelcoming. No smiles, no how can I help you, no thank you for coming in after giving terrible service came out of the mouth of the staff.

There was totally a lack of professionalism in their demeanor. Instead of offering assistance, I felt like an inconvenience to them. Basic courtesy, such as greeting customers with a smile, or providing clear explanation, was completely absent.
As a customer, I value efficient and respectful service, which of unfortunately was lacking at this post office. I hope that management takes steps to address these issues and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future.
I would strongly advise staff having a course in professionalism and advised management to implement measures to improve customer service and ensure more pleasant experience for all patrons.

Worst post office ever. I’ve worked for the post office in multiple capacities over the years so I know how the operation should run at every level. Mail shouldn’t come at 8pm, and when it does, my mail is delivered to someone else and I receive someone else’s mail in my box CONSISTENTLY. The mailboxes are so raggedy that I basically have to break into my own mailbox and nothing has been done about this. The staff are all rude and clearly do not care for the needs of customers. The carrier always marks packages “attempted” when no attempt was ever made and no one came to my door to deliver it. I always have to go to this post office physically and pick my packages up, when this is the last place on earth I want to spend my time at. I also had my PASSPORT delivered to someone else’s box when I need to use it in 1 week for travel. It was marked delivered and I only found out because the passport hotline provided me with the tracking information. No one at the post office was able to help me, and the carrier is as incompetent and careless as ever. I paid for expedited delivery just for it to be “delivered” to someone else, causing me to start a separate process to get a new one. I hate going there with a passion because it’s the most unprofessional establishment I have ever seen. Again, I know exactly how a post office should be run and this is the exact opposite. Shut it down and build three more in its place to distribute the community’s mail. They have more addresses and volume of mail than they should have. Shut it down!!!

This is the most incompetent post office I ever experienced. I moved to a new place back in February and had to wait for a mailbox key to be made . Due to this wait I did not receive any mail. After 7 service request they told me I wasn’t receiving mail to my new address because of an address change request that was being processed . After 2 months, I’m just learning I was assigned the incorrect box and key! And these people have yet to return my phone calls or my 10000 request submitted on the USPS website !
Now it’s showing me a $400 package was delivered to a parcel box I don’t even have access too. Everyone in this establishment needs to be let go! Huge security concern. I’m taking off work just to pull up there tomorrow and TRY to resolve this! I have never been so frustrated in my life !!

I would like to bring to your attention a concerning experience I have encountered with your post office services. Upon recently relocating in February, I sought to obtain a new key for my mailbox. Despite being informed that the process would take two weeks to complete, upon its conclusion, I discovered that the incorrect box had been altered, resulting in me being assigned to another individual's mailbox with an entirely different address. This oversight led to a disruption in my mail delivery, as I began receiving correspondence intended for someone else.Upon bringing this issue to the attention of your staff, I was met with a lack of professionalism and courtesy. The initial encounter with the desk attendant was marked by rudeness, and subsequent interactions with other personnel proved equally unsatisfactory. Despite assurances that the matter would be promptly resolved, delays ensued, and a resolution has yet to be achieved.This ongoing inconvenience has significantly disrupted my routine, necessitating multiple trips to the post office during my limited free time, with no guarantee of timely access due to conflicting work hours. I am deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of accountability and competence demonstrated by your team, as such inefficiencies are not reflective of the standard of service one would expect from a professional establishment.I urge you to address these deficiencies promptly and implement measures to ensure that such lapses in service are not repeated in the future. As a customer, I value efficiency and reliability, qualities which, regrettably, have been lacking in my recent interactions with your post office.

I live at 411 Prince Phillip CT, chesapeake VA. Every day I get mail that is for Prince George CT, and Prince Michael CT. I have spoken to the mail carrier many times about getting mail meant for others but it has not helped. My mail has also been given to the others also. My medication was also miss delivered. Please help as this is wrong. Today I had to deliver 4 letters for the other houses.

I submitted & PAID to get a new set of mailnox keys December 14, 2023 & I still have not rec'd them.And because of my work schedule I can not make it to the post office & Saturdays are horrific!!!!!!!!!!!This is truly sad because I do expect things by mail & I have to wait forever!!! This has to be corrected immediately!!!!!

I have reported this post office numerous times for not receiving packages or mail. I ordered my medical cream for my skin condition and I have me or my husband go up there once a week. I got another slip, Monday 2/12/24 and they still cannot locate my package even though they said maybe the post person has it. Now they told my husband its been 2 weeks it probably got sent back! THIS IS MEDICAL!!!!! Not to mention since this is a regular delivered item all my other cream packages were delivered via the mailbox parcel because it does fit. The lack of consideration or even care is so disheartening. All I can say is for everyone having issues, write your congressman, senator, and governor as I have regarding this issue.

Zero stars. You're unable to talk to an actual human being when you call. And when they finally do call you back you get an automated robot going to tracking information is the same as you would be online. Only mine's not in regards to anything tracking related I just want to know where the hell my wedding invitations

We don’t ever get our mail until at least 9 at night and now we haven’t gotten our mail in the past 3 days and we have the informed delivery knowing what we get. Absolute garbage.
