I had a very bad experience! You really need to beware of their warranty. After one week I was very unhappy with my purchase. I made the mistake of thinking they have the same guarantee as the name brand beds have. They do not! It was going to cost me over $600 to exchange it for a compatible mattress. I spent $2169 for the mattress alone and I was also offered an $800 bed plus I was going to have to pay over $200 for the returned mattress. So basically I would have given them $2369 for a mattress that cost $800. I just felt like I was getting a really bad deal and I don’t think they really cared about me being happy. I was treated very nice by Paul when I was purchasing. I had called him to tell him I was unhappy and he told me on the phone to come in and he would take care of me. He said nothing on the phone about the fee for exchanging. He made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. I did find out he has a very bad temper and I left the store in tears. I couldn’t bare to give them any more of my money so I started over. I purchased a wonderful Beauty Rest, I have 30 days to be sure it works well for me. I can exchange with no extra charges and even get money back if I exchanged for a less expensive mattress. I will stick with the name brands and Havertys! They were so nice to me. One more thing… when I told Paul I wanted to talk to the regional manager, he pretty much laughed at me. Very rude man

We have purchased 3 mattress sets from OMF at this location in Virginia Beach. Always treated with respect and understanding. We completed the purchase of mattress set #4 yesterday Saturday August 12, 2023 and the experience was more of the same… in a good way. We cannot say enough good things about OMF Virginia Beach location! Highly recommend if you are in need of a quality mattress set at a good price…

We recently visited The Original Mattresses Factory located at 1402 N. Battlefield Boulevard near the Interstate 64 to look around.Our old mattress was a Select Comfort but it is approaching 20 years old. Over the years, we have added mattress toppers to lengthen the mattress life but now it is time for a new one.They have a great selection to fit just about every budget and comfort level. The sales staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They asked great questions and they really helped us to make an informed decision on a mattress that we plan to keep for at least a decade or more. When you think about it that way, it helps to keep things in perspective. In other words, this is an important decision and one that you definitely want to get right.They offer, I believe it is 90 days to change your mind but I don't plan to use it. I left the store afterwards feeling great about the buying decision we made and I know that this mattress is going to stand the test of time.I never felt pressured at any point in this process, that is very important to me. When I encounter high pressure sales tactics, I generally walk out never to return again but that wasn't the case at all, quite the contrary, I felt like I was buying from an old friend. If you are looking for a good, better or best quality mattress, stop by to see the sales staff at The Original Mattress Factory. You will be glad to did and you can rest assured that you are supporting local businesses.

Reasonable price and very comfortable beds compare to the stores around the area. Paul was pretty knowledgeable and polite. He helped us a lot to make decision. Rick was also very nice! We just can’t wait to sleep on our new bed soon. Highly recommend this place!

Patrick was very informative and quickly helped us narrow down the perfect mattress! I made a comment about the sides of a mattress sinking down and he overheard, then mentioned to me that they could build a the mattress of our choices with foam supports on every coil’s perimeter, at no extra cost. This type of excellent customer service is not as common as it should be, and we definitely appreciated his positive demeanor and assistance.

This is a return trip. This is our 2nd mattress purchase in twenty years. OMF is awesome with a great product and great service. Made in Virginia, it doesn't get any better.

NEVER FELT PRESSURED or rushed.There recommendations for what kind of sleep are you are if you sleep hot or cold, if you like toppers they took everything into consideration. Once chosen your bed begins being handmade right thejlre. The turnover time was less than 2 weeks& they offer full services of removal and set up. ON TIME!!! YOU WILL LOVE YOUR Purchase.
