Do NOT move here! We moved into the apartment, provided pictures of many problems including mildew on cabinets. and were told “they’re old apartments, there will be scratches on the cabinets” they offered to put us in another old apartment. (fyi the older ones are built in 1985) or a renovated unit that had issues of its own. I was just not impressed by the staff (they are VERY hard to get ahold of), the ONLY person who I enjoyed & who helped us was Levoe. He was awesome. The clubhouse is awesome, thats about it. Our neighbors, while sweet were heavy ouid smokers. We have a 5 mo old and after one night in the apartment had trouble breathing & got sick. The smoke detector was set off by a steamy shower. We had 2 bugs in the apartment within the first 12 hours of moving in. While bugs are common on the first floor, I was less than impressed. The carpets looked newer, as well as the bathtub & sink in the bathroom. Possibly the start of being updated, but there was plentiful water damaged, shoddy repair work, OLD appliances. Looks like they took them out of my grandparents house. After meeting Susan, who is the manager, she was not much help either. The only people who seemed to respond to us were as the FCA Management who I had reached out to the night we moved into the apartment and responded within 24hrs. They attempted to remedy the situation but we were in need of an apartment fast and their sister communities did not answer phones/were not in office. Did I mention that the “internet” they offer $85 for? isn’t actually set up yet, so you do need to set up your own internet. (which was not disclosed to us.) You also pay a $25 valet trash service, plus $8 trash service, and some odd amenity fees & pest control fees etc (generally normal fees). You’re given stickers to put in your car so you’re not towed as it is private parking. A cool thing about the location is the use of amazon parcel lockers. This area has much potential, but as of right now. it is not worth the time nor money. Great location for Convenience wise as it is near everything under the sun… & just a heads up to those looking. The pictures online, do not look anything like the apartments. Maybe renovated ones but nothing like what is give

DONT MOVE HERE!!!!! They don’t disclose they take section 8 vouchers. Our apartment has mold growing on the cabinets and water damage and they offered to put us in a renovated more expensive apartment that was still shitty looking. The best thing this place can do is close their doors and quit wasting people’s times.

I do not recommend this place at all. I moved in and none of the appliances worked. The dishwasher was messed up, the plumbing was not working. Then the A/C was broken several times and I had no A/C for awhile. Now I lost my job and I have to move out and they want me to be responsible for 2 months rent due to their bad policy. I should not have to pay at all because of this. Do not move here. Save your money and your respect.

If I could give no stars, I definitely would.
I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for a place to live, do NOT choose this place. It has a HUGE cockaroach problem.
The trash collection is also a nightmare. Multiple times, our trash was not taken. We complained, and nothing was never done about it.
Maintenance does not do their job. We had black mold growing on our ceiling, and they painted over it and acted like it wasn't a problem when my 3 month old baby could have very well gotten sick from it.
They also have a TON of hidden fees they do not tell you about. My rent was supposed to be around $1,500, but it always seemed to be paying things I was not told, and my rent was closer to $1,800.
Do not live here. Anywhere, but here is better.

In search for a new apartment, I called the Amber Apartments at Greenbrier. I had the pleasure of speaking with Lavoe, he is fantastic! He is very well spoken, professional, very knowledgeable, and an excellent listener! He was able to provide me with all the information I needed. Lavoe made me feel excited and eager to move in!!! We’ve had constant issues with these apartments and I would not recommend or wish upon anyone what my boyfriend and I have been through. Immediately when we moved in, the apartments looked NOTHING like we expected. Run down, old, and plain right dirty. The floor boards were messed up and dingy. We’ve had constant issues with our AC messing up and barely got any airflow circulation in the apartment. Everything broke constantly to where maintenance didn’t bother fixing any of our problems after several times of asking things to be fixed. Our toilets were broken to where it was racking up the water bill. We’ve had constant issues with our emotional support animal to where they attempted to kick out us 3-4 months prior to our set move out date. We provided all the documents necessary before we moved in and when we moved in we received confirmation that everything was good then they wanted to hit us 3-4 months before our move out that having our emotional support animal was an issue. Now that we’re all moved out they are trying to charge us $400+ to replace a carpet for normal wear and tear and are trying to make us liable for something THEY are responsible for. They had advised to us the option to use a company of our choice to have the carpets professionally cleaned or we could use the company they typically use. Had we used our own carpet company I guarantee you we would have not been charged $400+ regarding this. They are trying to shake money from you and scam people into paying unnecessary crap that is their responsibility. I NEVER do reviews on ANYTHING but our experience at these apartments were ABSOLUTE TRASH. ******DO NOT RENT FROM HERE****** THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS OUT THERE AND THE AMBERS SHOULD NOT BE ONE OF THEM!

Just moved in a few days ago. The updated apartments are nice. I was shown an older model and was not impressed for the price. These apartments are a little pricey for what is offered. The grounds are pretty bad looking for $1600+ for a one bedroom apartment. I see lots of trash constantly and the grass is overgrown around the buildings. I’m not sure what kind of landscaping they have. Lots of cobwebs and bugs in the hallways so I guess they don’t clean those regularly. There are a lot of large dogs on this property that people walk and don’t pick up the waste. The pool is very small and the amenities in the clubhouse look dirty. I wish I had looked a little longer for another apartment but I was pressed for time. The staff seems nice but a little disorganized. I know there is a penalty for breaking the lease but I am considering leaving before my lease ends.

I almost did not have a suitable apartment today upon entry of the unit reeked of smoke and unfortunately tenants on other side of the building smoking in their apartment, which created an unsafe unit for me and my baby to live in. Susan and Ashley, listen to my concerns greatly and the staff was able to do a complete turnaround and Maintenance cleaned an entire new unit! Top to bottom and it looked absolutely perfect. I am so happy with the outcome of today. I also appreciate how fast they were able to do this for us! All thanks to Susan and Ashley who could make this happen! They definitely saved the day and turned a bad situation into an amazing one!

Roommate abandoned the property and I couldn't afford the full rent. I was told as long as I paid at least half theyvwoupd not evict and they wouldn't pursue me in court. I paid my half all the way until the move out date. Come move out time I signed my documents and left. Because my former roommate didn't sign his half they roped BOTH of us into a month-to-month lease agreement without my knowledge. They then evicted us from a property none of us loved in. Took BOTH of us to court over the money and j only found out AFTER the judgement was issued and it was too late. Do NOT trust anything these office people tell you if you have issues. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU.i cannot say it enough, stay FAR away from this place. Liars all. Now I have an eviction on my record and I was never a day late on what they asked me to pay. Never a day. These people have ruined future properties for me.
