Service department is awful. Bought my car here in 2021 and have been taking it here for service since then. It's gotten progressively worse over the years. Took it in for an oil change today and they did not want to honor the free oil change and kept telling my husband they didn't see where we purchased the vehicle in their system. We also requested a tire rotation that they just flat out didn't do. In addition, they told my husband the battery was dead and that they had to jump it to get it in the service bay - wanted to charge us over $400 for a new battery. Car has never had a problem starting, and started perfectly fine when he left with the car (we did not purchase a new battery from them.) 0/5 stars if I could - I will not be coming back to purchase another vehicle here.

Several months ago I had bought a brand new kia 2024 from another state but had a recall on the seat slide and was having issues with my lane assist alerts popping up making it unbearable to drive. I called early august and had made and appointment for late October. October comes bring in the car granted my fiancé brought it to the Wrong one when it was supposed to go to Lynnhaven location, but they took us anyways. Within a day or two they call and say it was the camera as the issues and replaced it. There was never any full troubleshooting done on the car or test drive after to make sure the car was in good working order. I left it with them the whole week after dropping it Monday 21 October since waiting on parts. I pick it up on Friday October 25 only for it to happen again as I'm driving home with the car. I immediately called and I was told to bring back Monday. I bring it back Monday October 28th and it sat until Thursday October 31st when I called for an update knowing it hadn't even been looked at. I was told I would be getting a call back same day about my car and suddenly my car was pulled into the bay to be looked at. I was never called back on Thursday. so Friday comes and I waited till noon and called again saying i was never called back but rest assured I would be called back again on Friday nov 1, nobody ever calls me. so Saturday due to the lack of communication I ubered down to the dealership to ask what's going on with my car and ask if I can have it back. As I had told the lady Friday that I have been almost two weeks without my car I need it as I'm going back to work next week. She never relays this to anyone, and my car is torn apart with nobody there working on it Saturday. I asked to speak to the maint manager, and he rest assures hell call me Monday nov 4 with an update. Nobody ever calls I waited until Tuesday nov 5 and call gain and by this point I make it known that I'm upset and will be coming to get my car and they will not be touching it anymore. I called twice and talked to two different people and said y'all have an hour to call me back. I finally get a call back and saying oh we ordered the part this am and will be here tomorrow or the next day. I was contacted off a personal phone to which I was told I was able to call or text if any questions. I waited until Friday nov 8th knowing my car hadn't moved to text the manager at around 8 and then called around noon and nobody ever texted or called back to let me know anything I waited until about 4 and called and said I'm coming to get the car and another guy told me that the part wouldn't be in until next week sometime. Saturday again I uber down to come get my car and leave with it and at this point got the GM involved after the complete disrespect by a service department I have ever seen. He got the issues resolved but the part shows up Monday and they tell me can't get in until December 1 for the part to be installed. To which I was told by the maint gm to bring it back and it would be done before then.
I also made it known several times that the name on the paperwork was not mine, close to five times. I have no idea why they have my mom's name or where they got it. I was told they changed it to which yesterday when i got my car the name was still hers !
I refuse to ever get my car worked on at this kia completely unorganized and complete lies by the service department the only people that handled

I called to book a service appointment and Rian was SO helpful! Looking forward to my appointment now. She made the process easy and when I didn’t know what I needed, she took over and took good care of me. Hopefully the techs do the same! Thanks Rian!

Awful service department. The guy at the counter tried to tell me they didn’t top off my coolant because it’s recommended that it’s drained first. I made sure my fluids were topped off this oil change because they never ever top off my fluids. They didn’t check the air in my tires either. What’s the point of the southern hospitality “deal” if I have to micromanage? Someone who didn’t know anything about cars would be paying for a coolant flush ?

My experience here was excellent. Meryll took care of us as far as information about the car and warranty info and he is an excellent representative and was very attentive to help us get our first car. Jerome also took care of us with our finance and I must say he was an excellent representative.
