Alright, so just clear things up for some folks. This NGIS had 3 buildings total. The main building and two buildings about a minute walk away from the main NGIS that feels like a motel, lol. So I stayed in the motel side buildings of the NGIS. My room wasn't terrible. A solid 3 out of 5.
The biggest issue was having bugs coming into my room all the damn time. No bedbugs but spiders, beetles, a mosquito here and there, and ants and I didn't really eat in my roon. No where to eat. The worst part was getting stung by wasps three times! There are so many wasps that I got stung two days in a row. They said they called Pest Control but haven't seen them yet. Oh well. I think it's the fact my door didn't have a solid seal and that's how all these bugs got in. I hope they can fix that. Didn't like waking up to bugs all over the place or a spider on my neck.
I stayed here for about a month along with a few other classmates. They were in the main building and they had very very amazing rooms.
But I will say the staff was 5/5. If it wasn't for the staff I'd hate my time here. My TV went out and they worked on it for 2 weeks calling dish and trying to get someone out here to fix it. The cleaning staff was extremely kind and always had my room cleaned. They service every 3rd day or every 2nd day. It's confusing but they got the job done. Front desk was always very helpful. IF I had anything tell anyone coming here is to get a room in the main building. The two other buildings aren't horrible, but the rooms are very inconsistent as I saw a couple others and every room was different.

I checked in late very tired around 12 AM. I was greeted by roaches running around in the room. So I was forced to find other accommodations. Luckily I found a room in Virginia Beach. I would suggest inspecting your facilities. I rented a room in Little Creek that smelled like dog and had fleas.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere but the staff was very helpful. Queen and Gerri are two staff members in particular who made my stay very pleasant. I will say that IF you have T-Mobile, you will probably have 1-2 bars for internet on your phone, EVEN when you log into "go-wifi" just be prepared for the minimal wifi within the hotel.

One of the better NGIS I've stayed at. Didnt feel like a converted barracks room.

WiFi is so bad you mine as well not have it and Verizon signal isn’t much better (not ngis fault there), hot water took about 15 minutes and the faucet is mislabeled hot and cold, bathroom sink drain was broken, ceiling fan was broke and falling out of ceiling, TV was ancient and wouldn’t turn on at times, bugs bugs and more bugs in the room. Maid was great but definitely the worst lodging I’ve ever had on a base.

Depends on which building you get in whether it is a good Gateway or not.

Not to bad, this building could use a bit of updating. The room is a studio layout with a kitchenette in the back. If one is available pay the extra for the better room.

Dated furniture, motel style, the kitchen area was nice, very old TV. Heat and AC worked well.
