The store opens at 6 a.m., I arrived at 6:02 to a locked door. Knocked and the person coming to unlock the door is typing on her phone, a very slow walk to unlock the door, as I stand outside in the drizzle. In the parking lot, every space close to the store is occupied by a Kroger employee. What in the heck has happened to customer service, and the customer comes first? Go to leave the store and evidently the lady that unlocked the door was too busy on her phone to flip the switch for the automatic door opener so I had to physically shove the door open to get out.

I have been a regular customer for many years. I stopped by this morning because I was hoping to find ribeyes on sale. I loaded up my cart because they had tons of good deals. I was scanning my items. Scanned some shrimp and decided to put in a different bag since I had raw fish and chicken in the bag I put it in. The attendant came over to check it out. I told him I scanned It and showed it to him on the screen. He Said whatever. Get it for free. I talked to a manager and assured them I was not stealing. I'll never shop at Kroger again. Walmart self checkout never acts like this.

Y’all either need to have someone fix your website or something tired of coming up here looking for something the website says is in stock at this location and when I get here it’s nowhere to be found

The worst Kroger in area. Nothing is ever in stock. If I go in for 10 items, I can guarantee they will only have 6 or 7, then it's across the street to food lion. I never have this problem with the other Krogers in the area. I'm just going to start driving further.

Your self checkout thinks I’m stealing. Then have to wait for assistance for no reason put more people on the registers. I’m not a Kroger employee why I’m I having to check myself out?

Jeff working the self checkout was super friendly and made sure to let me know it was military appreciation. He also made sure to greet and ask everyone how they are doing. Very friendly guy and I'd drive out of my way to shop somewhere that hires people with that level of customer service friendliness :)

Wed mornings are a great time to shop Kroger in Chesapeak. No crowds, the new sales have just started and the sales items are just being stocked.

I really like Kroger. Food seems fresher. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I save lots on Kroger gas just by getting fuel points.

Good selections and great customer service. We just came from lunch at Zaxby'sjust up the road. Food was good, but the girl who took our order was nasty ! I'm surprised she didn't throw our food at us.

The staff for pick up orders are phenomenal. Such friendly guys out there and always are so polite. Inside is always clean and this is my go to grocery spot 95% of the time.

Checked out with the cashier and as I was leaving the store the alarm went off and the wheels on the cart locked up. Needless to say, I was very embarrassed. A store employee unlocked the wheels and I was free to go….no apology & no explanation of why this happened. The prices are to high and they treat their customers like criminals. I will never return.
