“I drove by this shop many times but never stopped in to check it out until the bridge on Centerville opened and traffic backed up. It’s like a full time yard sale full of items that aren’t made anymore. My 10 year old son is an old soul who was like a kid in a candy shop here. If you’re in the area or just feel like taking a drive through whatever country side views we still have left in Chesapeake, I highly recommend stopping in this cute little roadside shop to check it out. You might just find a hidden sentimental item you didn’t know you were looking for. BTW., this is not a commercial store and all items are formally owned and for sale by multiple vendors. I would rather buy something here that has history and holds up than give my money to Target. Shop local like this place and keep our small American stores alive!!”
“Dave was very professional and courteous. Came to us when we came into the store and introduced himself, asked what we were looking for and pointed to the areas most of the chairs we were looking for would be. And then lets us look around by ourselves. When we found what we liked he came over and told us all about the chair. Described very well all the line items on the invoice. It was and has always been a very great pleasure shopping at LaZBoy.”

“Cassidy was such a help when it came to designing my bathroom. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She was so patient and understanding when I wanted to change my original choices for the fixtures.When the manufacturer of our shower surround shorted us an installation clip, Cassidy got on the phone right away and had the missing part expedited to my home directly from Canada. Our toilet base arrived damaged and again, Cassidy was quick to get a new one shipped out ASAP. Such great customer service! I would not hesitate to use Noland and Cassidy in the future. I wholeheartedly would recommend this business to anyone in need of a bathroom remodel.”

“I needed two particular, matching items I approached a cluster of employees, and the one who seemed the youngest, least experienced/familiar with products/locations took a professional interest -- to third degree: I was told there were none so I went to checkout with two minor items. The follow-through of this young lady, Nathalie, was stellar and represents the best responses the other employees in the cluster should have done. The store was significantly orderly in the aftermath of their throngs of customers in recent weeks, but Nathalie's service was exemplary, as she caught up with me at checkout and secured the two packs for me. I hope this young woman's business-building caliber of service becomes the training model for HomeGoods, as such will ensure they remain a viable, community-serving business.”
