Had my sons 2nd birthday party here. Amazing property, however I couldn’t say the same for the experience reserving for birthdays. As large as the property is the reserved birthday area is on the rim of the play area. Sure bonus it was under some trees to give some shade but it’s as far away from everything. There’s no wash area within eye shot distance which if the kids are playing and touching animals it would be nice not to lug them across the property for hand washing when eating. Minimal trash cans for what the intended space is for. I had to hunt down any employees to ask about our feed cups we purchased for the party. Not a soul lingering around the entire time that works there aside from the restaurant area. I spent more time walking the grounds looking for people o

We drove an hour to go to the haunted attraction tonight. We got there and it was dead. But there was an advertisement on site for the haunted attraction. So we waited. While we waited we checked their website and Facebook and all indications were that they were open. It is Saturday night. Not sure what is going on.We will be sure to tell people not to waste their drive out here.Update: we wanted to come here. But after several weeks, still no reply from them. I don't want drive all the way out again, just to come to nothing. Unfortunately, I won't be in town next year either.

The place has changed a lot since I last visited a few years ago. Now, there are new restaurants, and it's much more vibrant. My kids had a great time playing in the bounce houses and interacting with animals. Plus, there's a parking fee of $10 on weekends.

A hidden gem! I had such a great time here feeding and petting the cows. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Can't wait to come back!

This place is great! I would give it 5 stars as a fun and very affordable place to spend a few hours with so much to do and see. The hayrides are an adventure, picking sunflowers was very enjoyable, and who doesn’t love finding the perfect pumpkin? What kind of ruins it all is seeing the chickens terrorized by unsupervised kids chasing them and by the adults who took their small dog into the animal enclosure and allowed it to get loose to pluck a mouthful of feathers from one of them.

It's alright, maybe it's better in fall but for summer you don't get to really see much of the animals and the pig pen was real smelly, like it needed to be cleaned a bit lol. I've seen my fair share of pig pens and I ain't never smelled that in my life lol. The food there was good though I had the honey Sriracha chicken sandwich and their home made chips. I also got the blueberry mojito which was tasty.

Terrible experience, despite tweets from the farm today, suggesting that you can feed their animals – you cannot. Despite the tweets today from the farm and on their website saying you can have a hayride and pick peaches – you cannot. A massive overpromise by this place and an underwhelming delivery will result in us not coming back here again. Bounce houses flat and in disrepair. They do a great job advertising services that they cannot fulfill. This farm used to be great – please work on both your marketing to advertise truthfully what you are able to provide, and also get back to where you were a year or two ago when you offered a great experience here…

A bit out of the way. Okay if you're looking to entertain kids with the farm animals and bounce house. Farmers market is meh. Produce is not at peak of freshness, which is typical of farm markets in Chesapeake. Garden center selections are run of the mill as well. If it's not too far for you, you'll find netter prices at Whites Nursery. Pick your own sunflower field is cute; good height for kids.

First time ever going there, and I love it literally I felt like it was amazing. The food was good to see all the farm animals and to be able to pick sunflowers for just a dollar. Amazing atmosphere me and my friends definitely enjoyed it.

We’ve been going hear for many years and they just keep making it better. It’s always been a fun time picking strawberries or pumpkins with the family but now it’s a cool hangout place on a nice day. The hive has been turned into a full outdoor restaurant and the food is amazing..

The most beautiful farms in town. Many things to do and many places to get some perfect photos. Amazing food! Totally recommended

The only thing that’s worth it is the Tulips field. Playground is dirty and work lack of maintenance.

I knew that the farm was close to us, but have never been down the road to actually make it to the farm. Very easy to locate if you're using a GPS.They do have a spacious lot, but debating on when you arrive and how people park, I could see it be a bit troubling. Lots of big dips, so cars lower to the ground take caution.Honestly, we showed up and had no idea where to go. There were no signs on where to purchase the buckets, how to pick tulips, and I was feeling a little anxious about it all.We eventually find the little shop and are told $20 for a bucket and if you come back with the bucket, you can get $2 off next time. The kids went to town and easily picked their fill of strawberries. These strawberries were so beautiful. Plump, shiny, vibrant. I don't particularly enjoy strawberries but my kids all said they were good, and my strawberry avoiding husband said he actually really liked them and that they were nice and sweet. One bucket held an insane amount of strawberries. We ended up giving half of the bucket to my brother and even he was shocked when we showed him how much 1/2 was lol. They also had bounce houses up, and they were okay. My kiddo said it was dirty and wet (it did rain, so makes sense), so we didn't stay there long. They liked the free roaming animals and were shocked to see a real life pig. So pretty neat aspect there.Overall, we'll probably be back to at least check out the fall festivities, and maaaaaybe more strawberries if the kids actually make a dent in these.

I've been here twice. Once before the pandemic and again a few weeks ago. I don't really see the appeal of this place. The tree farm is very slim. I had to photoshop a lot of the trees in the one photo I took. There are better tree farms in Virginia Beach. Pictures with Santa is ridiculous long line. Not worth it. There isn't food vendors just a food outside restaurant I guess. You have to wait to be seated outside! There's the dirty petting farm. I just don't think it's worth it. I guess it's good for Chesapeake residents but Virginia Beach has better places like the Hunt Club, Farmers Market and even Anderson's. Those places you can to take pictures with Christmas trees, buy Christmas trees and wreath, drink hot chocolate, eat, take pictures with Santa, petting farm and much more. We were there to enjoy the farm and take some pictures but left after 5 minutes. It was very sad. Unless I missed something but we went on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone I seen came to take pictures and left. I heard other people complaining so that validated my thoughts. Pre pandemic I came here for the pumpkins. There were tons of HUGE pumpkins. Like 2ft tall pumpkins which were too big. I probably won't come back here. Recommend food vendors, better setup, and more activities.
