I work with the Destiny Empowerment Center at my church, Living Destiny. I came to this Food Lion to ask for donations for a Thanksgiving dinner we're putting on for the community. I happened to catch the General Manager, Nadia riiiiiiiight at the end of her day. I mean clocked out, on the way out the door. She not only took the time to talk with me and set a time to come back the next day, but went ABOVE AND BEYOND with their donation of food for the community. Its obvious that God is working in this store, and doing good things, because the care they showed in this one act surpassed my expectations. I pray the LEADER of this Food Lion is protected, because we follow our leaders, and Nadia is an excellent one.

The store is okay, but I'm tired of getting accosted by people begging for money every time I walk from the store to my vehicle. After the fourth time I decided that was it. One lady said she hadn't eat'n since the day before. I gave her a twenty and got in my truck. I watched her walk back to her spot and wait for the next sucker.

Produce is always so bad from this location. Never enough cashiers. Lines take forever and there’s not self checkout. Do not go in this location in a rush. Be prepared to wait
