I went to this location for the first time on June 24 & it’s been a nightmare. I purchased two pairs of shoes, one for myself my daughter. I was charged $318 because a store associate added & charged a donation of $159 unauthorized to my bank. It was not even an OFFER at the time of cashing out my purchase if I wanted to donate to this foundation which is what baffles me! I wouldn’t have known I was charged if I wasn’t alerted by my bank while i was still standing at the register. I figured, people make mistakes but this is a bigger mistake! I would still give the courtesy of allowing them to rectify the issue. That never happened. Instead, I was told I need to be contacting the “Youth foundation” for my refund when I NEVER MADE THE MISTAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. YALL MADE THE MISTAKE, WHERE IS THE HUMAN DECENCY FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND FOLLOW UP WITH ME AS YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MADE THIS ERROR. MAKE IT RIGHT! Why am I having to follow up on someone else’s mistakes and jump through hoops to get my money back & the person who charged my card has done absolutely nothing! Assistant manager has done absolutely nothing! I NEVER authorized these charges. I was never even asked to contribute to this organization! I didn’t hop over the cash register and put $159 entry for additional charges when my total for my purchase was really only supposed to be $159. I was charged twice and I STILL have no been refunded after five business days. Instead, the youth foundation has let me know the store associates are trying to place blame on me for something I had absolutely nothing to do with, this completely UNAUTHORIZED. It is July 3rd, no response from anyone about my refund. I really can’t believe I am experiencing this. Am I supposed to just let my money go down the drain over something I had absolutely no SAY or CONTROL over at all?

Called the Chesapeake Square Mall location 3 times concerning a Christmas purchase that had not been picked up by the carrier yet- 1st time no answer, 2nd time put on hold forever!! And the manager never came back on the line, 3rd time (now) they have put the phone down next to register lol. Another example of trash customer service. Thanks Chesapeake Square Mall Virginia Finish Line. Y’all are rude as hell.
