This is my CVS , walking distance to me! Whenever I'm in a bind I stop by. What I love about this location is it's so organized and well stocked ! They also have Deep Creek gear like purple shirts and hats , which I think is a fun way to bring spirit to the community. Staff is friendly even though I don't see them as much, they've installed self checkouts. There is a lottery machine conveniently next to the door. I get my scratchers on my way out! Lol! This place never really gets full so parking is easy, getting into the CVS is easy, but it can be kind of tricky to get back on the highway so I will sometimes go down to the stoplight and come up GW highway. Again, well stocked, you'll find what you need here !

I had the worst experience today at CVS Kempsville location. It started when they were out of the medications then my father went to pick up two of the prescriptions that were ready and one was not. Then they sent a text saying it was ready and they still had not filled it. My son had an allergic reaction and needed his meds. Then they ran the insurance and kept making mistakes about what I needed to pay. It turns out that they did not do something correctly and wanted me to pay 80.00 to get medicine that was covered under the insurance. The cashiers attitudes in the pharmacy was very snippy and rude. It is not my fault that they do not know their jobs. Then they get mad when the customer is fed up with the incompetence and time wasted. I was there over an hour and still did not leave with what I came in there for smh. Horrible service. I have made several complaints and nothing has changed. They appear to be fully staffed now but they still do not appear to know what they are doing.

Pharmacy lacks professional customer service. Pharmacist use unethical, deceitful tactics. Not trustworthy. Pharmacy technicians can be rude and disrespectful. Some appear to be lacking proper training.

I had an appointment to get my booster shot. I made the appointment for 10:00 am. It is now 10:30 am and was was given the paperwork to fill out. I completely understand that they are under staffed, but don't make appointments if you as a pharmacy can keep them on time! I will never come back here for any immunizations. There are several other places that will keep their appointments!!!!

Worst CVS location.Always busy no help been waiting for an hour to fill a prescription. Cant call ..leave you on hold for an hour or more when you do.

I've been to this CVS location a handful of times through the year. Staff is always helpful at locating an item if you need assistance. You can find everything from road trip snacks, over the counter medications, small kid toys to hair and baby products. They do sell baby enfamil here as well. Sign up for their CVS app which has lots of perks. We like to get our one hour photos here, we never have a problem.During Christmas time they carry a small selection of Christmas supplies such as stockings, children stocking stuffers and ornaments. This year they have a Disney train set- the kind that goes around you Christmas tree.This store appears clean, they have placed 6 feet away stickers on the ground for customers while standing in line and have hand sanitizer available. Masks are required. They do covid testing here which is separate from inside the store, appointments are required.

I called at 330 to see if my meds were ready that my doc put in a 230. waited on hold for 22 mins so I hung up and called again. waited for 15 mins and nothing. So I called on the way there at 415, got there at 430 and was still on hold. There were two people I could see, one just walking up to a in store costumer and an other messing with boxes. Took a few mins for them to come to the window and I asked, do ya'll answer phones because I was still on hold. All said, they stated it was be a 2 hour wait. I guess I lost it because of all of it and drove off. I was still on hold and she finally answered. Told her my whole story and she said they were busy (one person in store and no one in line outside) and she said they have had 8 phones in the last hour. Three were me that they didn't answer. Still 2 hour wait for some reason. She called me back because the other worker said I called her a bad name and they will have to transfer my meds to Walgreens. Don't remember calling her anything but could have because I'm in pain because of a crack rib, that is why I wanted my meds. So called Walgreens and they answered in 3 rings and told me my meds would be ready in 15 mins. Thank you CVS for the great service (not)!
