What's not to love about this place? I don't go to big brand name "hardware" stores unless I have to. 90% of The stuff I need I get here and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Missing a screw or bolt for something and need to have it replaced, they have it. Paint, tools, yard items etc. I'd much rather support a family-owned local shop. Plus you were in and out rather than walking around a huge store for an hour!

This place is a family-owned experience in itself, takes you back to when you're a child. they've got everything you ever wanted, and they don't have it they try to get it. All you have to do is walk in and tell him what you need, they'll take you right to it. you don't have to look for anything, although I could spend the day in there looking they've got everything from thumbtacks to bicycles!

Every time I go to Creekmore Hardware I'm greeted by friendly associates who always find what I'm looking for. Much more enjoyable than the big box stores.

This is the place if you have an old house and can't find your parts anywhere else. Mike and the staff are awesome and can't wait to help you find what you need. ( And it's been that way (for me anyway) since my first visit over 45 years ago, probably alot longer than that.) Just try them they really love to help and the prices are pretty good too.

I am sharing my disabled POV. I went to Creekmore Hardware by chance. I had been searching for an EZ Pass, and the Chesapeake treasury sent me to them. At first, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get my mobility scooter through the door. It looked like a warehouse door. I didn't know the main entrance was to the far right of the parking lot, which was mostly full when I arrived! The doors are a little heavy, and the aisles are narrow, but I was able to maneuver around. I was greeted by EVERYONE! Yes, indeed, they sell EZ Passes. I wish I had more time to explore the hardware store. I saw some really interesting gardening tools!! Ah well, next time.

I'm giving this review based on a personal relationship with this old family hardware store. I helped remodel this store as a young man before I went into the service. The store is closed as other old family businesses are going out as the covid and big box stores are hitting g them hard.Americana...on its way out as we boomers reach our exits. What a memory to visit in our minds. God Bless the Creekmore family

What are the last hardware stores real hardware stores that is if you get a chance just go there take your kids buy something just to make sure that this stays in existence when you walk in you can smell the new bikes the fertilizers and everything that remind me of a kid over 70 years ago this is how all hardware stores were were until home Depot and Lowe's got involved true customer service and nice people

Good selection, even better customer service. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Came in for a very specific bolt, and was immediately greeted by a staff member who quickly helped me find it.

Excellent service! And they have that small town feel; along with extremely knowledgeable staff that are always willing to help. My business has been using them for years and they've been around since the 40s I believe.
