To COX Management: I want you to know what a valuable employee you have. I had the pleasure of have one of your field representatives (Vitalii ****** come to my home and FIX a TV problem that had been going off and on for over 3 months. This is after many phone calls and 2 other technicians coming out. He gave his business care and said for me to call if I had any further issues. Well, today I called him with what turned out to be a minor issue. It was even his day off! He walked me thru the problem in about 5 minutes. (Which probably would haven taken at least 45 mins. to even get someone on the phone and most likely would have had to dispatch a service tech, a couple of days later). I definitely give Vitalii 5 stars! Cathie ******

Don’t use this company! I’ve had to shut down my business due to Covid, I called cox to shut down my services and I figured there would be an early termination fee, but to my dismay they said I would owe over $19,000 (the remaining part of my contract). I was told by the salesman that if I needed to cancel I could get out of it because I signed up during Covid, I can’t believe I fell for that one. The support was horrible, they give you 1 training class for a very complicated phone system and if you still need help they charge for it, we never got to use the system the way it was supposed to be used. I hope this review stops somebody else from being a victim of cox cable.

I have Cox for internet and Homelife. I've been a customer for about 9 months. The internet is great. I haven't had any problems. However, with Homelife, I'm pretty sure the front door sensor they gave me is bad. I've replaced the battery about 5 times and I rarely leave out the front door. It hasn't been a year. It keeps saying zone communication failure. The back door sensor hasn't died once. I tried to contact them, but they want to charge me to visit and ** dollars to replace it. I don't think that is fair. I also tried text support, they left me on read. I'm ready to cancel my contract. I really expected more.

Cox is charging my business over $16,000 for early cancellation. My special events business was shut down because of COVID. This is what they do to small businesses and VETERANS. Thanks Cox!

They were ok. Overpriced but acceptable. Now I have moved, have different internet service with a different provider and had to call cox to remind them that I’d canceled. My old account now looks like I actually had moved my service. I started to move my service but realized I could get more than double the bandwidth for 30% less every month without a special promotion so I cancelled before the new service was actually started. Goodbye, Cox.

Deceptive billing practices. I called to enquire as to why my bill was way higher than quoted. Found out they had put call waiting on a credit card machine! They "found" a way to get back to what I was quoted but I can't do business with dishonest companies. Now they offered a $1500.00 buy-out but when I required the bill to reflect that so I could pay it they cancelled the offer.Dishonest company avoid at all cost.

Cox Communications Companie brightest idea is to lease Comcast Xfinity technology and call it a different name and overcharge for it. Monopolize Cities like Norfolk and Apartment complexes throughout the Seven Cities. They pay City Mayors and Apartment Complexes to keep out competition like Verizon Fios. Competition drives prices down. Would create more jobs and increase City revenues. Let the Competition in! Thats right your being paid not too! Whether with stock, cash, no show jobs for family and friends or exotic gifts.

Technician disconnected my line that was supposedly causing a issue with another line. Technician didn't notify me, Cox, my account or the department that fixes damaged lines. I went 4 days with no internet before another technician came, found the issue and ran a new line. Now have a line running 100 feet across my lawn until another department comes to burry it. Cox customer service at the technical department wasn't helpful when I called back to discuss the issue, transferred me to the department that handles accounts and credits...... Both representatives had minimal customer service skills, an attitude, argued with me on the phone and BOTH CLAIMED TO BE THE SUPERVISOR WHO WAS IN CHARGE and told me there was no one else higher then they was.... I'll gladly be looking for a different internet provider who at minimum has the ability to talk to customers without an attitude and looks for solutions not excuses. A sales rep or random Cox guy at the local store can be polite and sell you anything you need but when it comes to actually encountering a situation you don't see that local Cox store rep, you get passed along a phone system to people who don't see you face to face and that results in them separating themselves from your issue and treat you like a burden because it's 730 pm and they wanted a easy night at work.

Billing has been an issue. Value of service was not present. I finally had enough & switched service. Now Cox business wants to charge a $3,500 Cancellation Fee. Threatening & charging this exorbitant amount is equivalent to extortion!

We have been forced to deal with Cox business for years since there is no other provider in our area. When everything works, its ok. We have had multiple equipment failures, service outages etc. Not impressed.
