“This a convenient location, especially when you need gas! I always use my rewards to save money on gas! The employees are usually friendly enough. They always have a good enough stock for the usual items wanted. The store is usually clean and the coffee area always has all creamers, sugars, syrups, etc stocked, which makes me happy.”
“Since they switched to Exxon it's been great! Good prices! And the pumps work! Most times before hand they wouldn't work. They have four pumps. Location is right next to all the ramps which is convenient when headed to Va beach or Norflok.”

He is literally one of the hardest working people that I’ve come across in this store… I mean by himself he literally knocked down a line of more than 20 people in under 10 minutes working two registers! “This pit stop has everything: gas, clean restrooms, the largest selection of beverages and snacks I've ever seen, a snack bar, hand dipped ice cream, lotto (VA and NC since this building is situated right on top of the border--hence the name), OBX merch and souvenirs, take-home barbeque, and lots of regional products. What's a regional product, you ask? They have Stuckey's products, McCutcheons jams and such, and Wells barbeque sauce, a staple in my house. We buy two jugs to last us a year between trips to the Outer Banks, can't can't can't live without it! They have teeny tiny 18oz. bottles for the babies, and one gallon jugs for the adults, take yer pick. Basically The Border Station is the best pit stop on the East Coast, my oasis on my way to or from the OBX.”

“I have had numerous occasions to have long conversations with the pharmacy staff regarding my meds due to being a new patient with multiple specialists following a hospitalization in January 2023 and an ER visit again in May.Everyone has been as available and accommodating to my needs as they could possibly be, all the while remaining patient, kind, professional, and never making me feel troublesome or a burden. For this elderly, handicapped person, this professionalism is so very appreciated because I cannot always be the most compliant to others schedules and often encounter a dismissive attitude in other businesses.I am happy to say the services received from the pharmacy carry over to the rest of the employees at this location and I will continue to be pleased to shop there!Kudos to all,Carol SkinnerChesapeake, VA7/16/2023”
