Chartway is a joke. Their online system is very confusing. The people will tell you different things regarding your loan. And the overall service is truly terrible will never recommend Chartway with a car loan. Their automated service never works.

I had an Awesome, Great Experience with A Customer Service Rep. @ Chartway over the phone. Melissa, was knowledgeable, answered all my questions and went beyond the box! She went further to get my issue resolved! I'm not sure whether she is in a branch or a call center but I appreciate her dedication to Chartway! Thanks Mylissa?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have worked with Cindy Hodge (Cedar Rd branch) for over fifteen years. She is my go to person for all my banking needs. Chartway is always busy and I email Cindy with my questions/requests directly. She always gets back with me and when she does I get her undivided attention.

Charging a 2 percent fee and forcing a join membership on cashing a check that is a personal check from chartway, is not how to get a member. I'll be sticking to Navy Fed, Thank-you for the inconvenience Chartway.

I used to love this branch. I needed to speak with someone about a few transactions necessary for a home purchase. After waiting a while, I was told I should have made the deposit with the teller. Well, I don’t want to make a deposit if I can’t complete the entire process necessary and the teller can’t do that. We have been with this bank for a very long time, have several accounts, auto loan, etc. I felt the woman assisting me was condescending and dismissive. She admitted “liking to find others mistakes” and “liking to always be right”! Go ahead, edit this complaint! The way you treat people is far more important than your self importance. Was also told the funds would be available after 2 days, we called the home office BEFORE we went to the bank and we’re told only a portion of the funds would be available after 2 days, the entire amount (thousands) would take 5-7 days, so we already knew that wasn’t correct. Work on your customer service!

My husband and I have been doing business with Chartway since 1986, (before the name change to Chartway) but my parents had been members for years and years. I've dealt with other branches, but the Cedar Road branch, formerly the Great Bridge branch, stands out, in my opinion, far above all others. No matter what time of day, the tellers are always friendly, courteous, and never seem to want to rush you. We are also impressed with the many other services offered by Chartway that we might never have known about had they not been mentioned to us in friendly conversation during a teller transaction. Over the years we have had checking and savings, personal loans, car loans, a credit card, CDs, and we are currently thinking of refinancing our home mortgage loan (also with Chartway!) in order to remodel our house. We couldn't have gotten better rates anywhere and the representatives who service the loans are always competent, friendly and know all of the details regarding the products they offer. We are sorry to learn that one of your most excellent representatives (Ms. J. Puckett) will be moving to another branch in the near future. We will miss her excellent service and cheery smile at Cedar Road, but she is an asset to Chartway at any branch. We wish her the best of luck at her new branch. And thank you, Chartway, for the excellent service you've given, us (and continue to give us!) over the past 24 years!

Avoid using Chartway, use to be much better. Too many problems with ap web security, fees, etc....
