Absolutely pathetic. Get your act together Chartway. Virtual tellers. Check deposited and your ATM goes down. I get it. Out of your control but absolutely clueless and had to walk inside and wait another 15 minutes to be told they don't even know what's going on. 45 minutes and still waiting. My God what an embarrassment.

Friendly tellers. Several automated machines if you don't want to spend time with a teller. Curtious and helpful.

I am very pleased with Chartway. I had fraudulent activity with my acct and Sam B was very helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. I actually learned alot, especially ways to protect my acct and my identity. He was very patient and very pleasant.?

Customer service at this branch is always warm. But the automated system is always malfunctioning and I shouldn't be required to enter my entire ssn to create an online account. It's unnecessary. Having to go inside a branch in order to maintain my accounts in 2023 is crazy!

This bank is a bunch of crooks. Went to cash one of their own checks, and they tried to charge me 88.00 to cash it. I understand an 8 or 10 dollar fee. But 88.00. Gtfoh. Great way to earn new business from non members, just steal from them! Good riddance.

Aaliyah was amazing, she greeted us with a smile. From the time we sat down with her till we left. She was personable, and helped my grandmother and I, and allowed us to talk through the questions we had. Amazing person and we will be back to work with her in the future. Thanks again Aaliyah!

Today, my wife went to this branch, and while she was there, my daughter with Down syndrome suddenly needed to use the restroom. The person at the branch would not allow her to use the restroom, and was willing to let my daughter have an accident. My wife had to leave the branch and rush her to another store with kinder employees to avoid my daughter being embarrassed by an accident.

I thought my account had fraudulent debits going back several years on my savings account. The staff at Chartway was so helpful and empathetic from the first call I made after hours to the video banking representative. I am so impressed with their high level of customer service. Other companies have long wait times, and have hung up on me. Thank you to everyone. I am glad I have stuck with this company even when I moved away from the area.

Nowadays it’s difficult to get ahold of employees wherever you go to discuss your concerns or what you’re trying to accomplished. You’re diverted to customer service only to be put on hold forever or you go in for assistance and no one is available. What happened to “providing excellent customer service”. It doesn’t exists . They’re either understaffed or plainly despised his ir her job; only interested in collecting paychecks.Yesterday, I went to two different financial institutions. I needed to refinance my vehicle. The other financial institution, the manager had her door closed basically in a meeting for hours. She finally returned my phone call after I made my decision to go with Chartway Federal Credit Union. It was already 3:30 p.m. when the branch manager at the other institition returned my call-If my recollection serves me right. The other financial institution is not accessible. I went to Chartway (which happens) to be across the street. The employees there are always welcoming. I checked-in met with Ms. Haynes. She handled my application smoothly from the beginning to wrapping up the process. Ms. Haynes was very knowledgeable and very organized. She explained to me in details every steps of the process. She was a speedy worker and well versed. She has every answers on every questions I had. Most of all I cannot thank her enough for excellent customer service. She made me feel at ease and comfortable through the loan process. Thank you Ms. Haynes for making everything possible. I’m very grateful.

This bank is from another world. Every time you get fees applied and also when your bank account goes bust due to hard ships after helping someone who is in need, they don't want to give you any fee money back. This bank is for rich people and federal government workers, and civil service workers, not entirely for the poor and disabled people. Sooner or later I am going to be discontinuing my membership with this bank and find a better bank soon than this one, but as is right now, I have no choice but to keep this bank and deal with their limitations they impose on me. Also during the daylight and early evening hours they make you wait up to 25 to 30 minutes to talk to a specialist, and the specialist say they were going have another agent call you and they don't return your phone call.

Mrs Dantzler helped me get a lower interest rate on my auto loan, as pay off my credit card debt. She really went above and beyond to help me. I was also able to open a checking and savings account as well. All the associates were helpful and very kind.
