My five stars goes all out to Harry great buisness and sales rep. Soon as I came through the door, he pulled me in no wait. I came to look a Hyundai suv but unfortunately it was sold the day before but no worries! He ended up giving me the bigger and better fish which is a 2020 Nissan pathfinder and she is a beauty. Wasn't my first time being introduced to her but if I couldn't find what I was looking for why not? She matched me like a dating site! Spent me all day but patience and a little bit more help and special thanks to these people. Harry has been there a while and more to come!! Wonderful man appreciate him much!!

Worst experience of my life! Not only did I spend 3 days of my life in this establishment for several hours. I was asked to add someone to the loan to receive higher financing. They were aware that this person wasn't licensed but it was OK because we just needed him to receive more. Two weeks after leaving with the vehicle I'm being harassed to return a vehicle because the loan was revoked due to the financial company not receiving all documents needed to finalize the loan. Mind you all that information was provided. The documents were withheld from the financial institution because they couldn't find a way around the lies that were told to make the purchase. Not to mention they made my cosigner primary own. This was terrible business practice no one was on the same page so I was being told different things from different people. Don't recommend this establishment at all take your money elsewhere where your business is appreciated. Definitely plan to report this practice to the BBB and speak to legal counsel. Lying on financial documents to make a sell then hassling the purchaser when you can't cover your lie has to be illegal.

As always excellent Service from my salesperson. I have brought three cars from banister of Nissan in the sales person who has helped me each time has been Giff McDonald. He well knowledgeable about the product, but also would go out of his way to get you the best deal and will assist you in any concerns you might have. The team that completed this Recent deal includes Eddie P. Sales Manager, James Copeland finance man, andRobin Kelley sales Manager. Received wonderful financing amount and a 70 inch tv as a gift. They are like family and will be returning when it’s time to receive my next car purchase. Thanks Giff and Nissan fabulous team.

I did not end up buying a car from this dealership, but the sales manager Eddie P ended up making me feel like family. Giff M was also a phenomenal salesperson and shared a NY bond with me, catching up and telling old stories about our time back home. This dealership BLEW ME AWAY with the quality of service i received there. This was a great experience and I'm sorry we couldn't do business this time, I will absolutely recommend you guys to my friends and if anyone I know needs a car and wants to go Nissan ill absolutely strongly recommend this dealership over Banister Norfolk.

Terrell, Darla and the crew were very happy and excited to have me come back into the dealership. I had a great experience and they were very positive and making sure my day had been good as far and they hope that I have rest of my day. Would honestly recommend anybody to come here. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Banister Nissan while my daughter purchased her car. Being a mortgage underwriter, I'm quite meticulous about who I trust for major purchases. Although I couldn't be there in person, I was thoroughly impressed with the service and care provided by Mike and his team. As a bit of a helicopter parent, it was a relief to witness the level of support and education they provided my daughter throughout the process. They didn't just treat her as a customer but as if she were their own. This experience was truly #amazing!

Please find another company to do business with. This is one of the most deceitful & dishonest service departments I've ever worked with. They refuse to honor warranty on vehicle. Save yourself the trouble and please find another company. As I'm reading all of these negative reviews & comments it looks like I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Recently bought my first car with Banister Nissan. Very happy to have my new 2023 Nissan Rogue that is now named Roger. Big thank you to Aalijah Vega who first approached us, and to the sales manager and Financial Advisor Terrence for walking us through add-ons and helping us find what works for me. Now that I’ve sized up vehicles, I’m excited to take my new car all over and I can do so stress-free knowing Banister Nissan will help me with whatever comes up.

Went in for the 5000 mile service. The work was preformed quickly and correctly. The service advisor, Makayla Richardson, was outstanding. She was positive and professional. She explained the process and answered all our questions. At delivery she took the time to ensure we were satisfied with the process. My wife and I were very pleased with the experience at Banister Nissan’s Service department.

RUN AWAY FROM BANISTER NISSAN OF CHESAPEAKE AND DO NOT BUY A NISSAN SINCE THEY ARE CROOKS SELLING BROKEN CARS. I am enlisted in the Navy and bought a Nissan Versa for cheap reliable transportation while deployed. When the CVT transmission failed Banister Nissan of Chesapeake "fixed" it for almost $1000. I drove it for less than one week and the CVT completely blew up. Banister Nissan of Chesapeake and Nissan USA refuses to repair the CVT even though it's under warranty. All the Nissan CVT's are crap and Banister Nissan of Chesapeake and Nissan U.S.A. are stealing money from the enlisted of the US Armed Forces, selling defective cars and not taking responsibility.

Aug 18th was a special day for me at Banister Nissan at the Chesapeake location. I finally got to meet a 6.5 tall giant of a man name Big AL. I read his reviews and there were outstanding great customer service from previous customers which was true when I found out myself. As not having the perfect credit where I needed to be on my fico score , Big AL never treated me different or walked away and say there is nothing we can do to help u. I felt welcomed when I got there at Banister Nissan there was no pressure they even let me test Drive the maxima and not one word was said let's pull your credit before u test drive are cars on the lot. I felt relieved and good about myself and not pressured. As I fail in love with the maxima I decided to go in and do paper work and instantly I got approved for the car. There was no pressure no long waiting it was like get u in and get u out. Now I am a part of the family at Banister Nissan thank u...

UPDATE TO MY BELOW REVIEWWhen I say Jonelle goes above and beyond that’s an understatement. 2 weeks after purchasing my car she calls me and tells me I now have free charging for an entire year at any Evgo station!!! That is top tier customer service go see her if you need a new car. She is the best!!!!Jonelle was excellent and had the most patience I’ve ever seen. She was not pushy in pursuit of the sale and I appreciated that. I also love my new Nissan Ariya thanks!
