Im a new customer and so far I am very happy with the service the people of Davenport Energy have provided. I first talked with two gentlemen in the Danville office and they helped look up my address and answered all my questions. I next talked with the very busy people in the Chatham office. They were very helpful in scheduling a delivery and an inspection of my propane system. I have an irregular schedule so it was nice to get a date close that would work with my schedule without any trouble. Jarrett and Billy came to my house to inspect my tank and do a leak check on my system. They were both very polite and helpful. We had a nice conversation. They made sure I was confident with the operation of my gas log fireplace before they left. They gave me tips and reconmendations. Through out the process everyone has been polite and very friendly. I would recommend Davenport Energy Inc.

Our latest service call was to install our new propane fireplace. We found a nice set in the showroom. The technicians installed it on time and in only 45 minutes. Outstanding service from the office staff and the field staff.

My dad have used this company for oil for over 60 years. We put them on a call only because they would say they came out but we had no indication that they did. They sent my dad a bill for $590 in November. When I questioned who called them they said they didn’t keep record of who called. After talking to the front desk in Chatham the lady says they could come out and drain his tank and deduct it from the oil bill. My dad is 90 years old and again have been a customer for over 60 years and this is the customer service he gets. A ‘1’ star is one star too many.

I sincerely appreciate the service provided by Davenport Energy and all of the people who work for them. In the last four years, I have never had a bad interaction when calling or met a field person who was not friendly, helpful or smiling That is rare.When I called to get assistance during recent home remodeling, they went above and beyond to offer options and services at competitive prices. They even checked in during construction and installs without asking.I know people might experience delays due to issues beyond their control or bad weather, and it is understandable. However, I have experienced nothing but excellent service and quick response whenever necessary. I don’t say this about all companies but when I get continued and sustained service like this, from people who are customer focused, I want to take time to let them know it is very appreciated. Thanks to you all!

Don't run out of oil an call them. Takes 3 to 5 days. Be cold waiting on Davenport to bring it. For fast an much cheaper prices with B&R. Oil Company much better. Thank y'all

My elderly mother and I paid $75 per year to rent a tank because I expected Davenport to maintain their equipment. However when their equipment proved to be defective and leaked gas, they made us pay for the loss (which was well over $100 - approximately a half tank of gas). When my motherquestioned their representative about this, Davenport stated that they would be sure to treat us fairly. But they have done nothing to correct their mistake, and I still feel like we were cheated out of a half tank of gas. I'm even suspicious that they may intentionally provide defective equipment in hopes that something like this will enable them to sell more gas.
