Great little find. Museum was closed while we were there, but the gardens are worth the trip. Loved that they salvage old artifacts from around VA and intertwined them in the garden.

We got to see the park at just the beginning of it's spring awakening. It's lovingly maintained and every turn is a new surprise.

Drove to Chase City for my niece's wedding held in the beautiful outdoor gardens! I had never been there before and I discovered an absolute gem. This place offers local history, art exhibitions, outdoor sculptures and lovely gardens to stroll through. A local metalsmith artist had created and installed in the garden one of the most beautiful LOVE signs I have seen. If you are in the Chase City/Southill/Clarksville area, you must pay a visit to this museum and the gardens.

I love this place beautiful. We went for the Love sign but I didn't know it was in a beautiful place! We walked and took pictures! Sweet ladies work here too. It was only $5 a person!

A gorgeous hidden gem, fascinating piece of history. 6 acres of gardens, statues, small Roman style buildings, and the original house of Judge Edward Hudgins/wife Lucy Hudgins. Well worth the $5 fee to see the McCallum Museum and Gardens!

Beautiful garden! And such helpful staff. If you’re driving though, it’s a worthwhile place to stop and smell the roses :) Or if you live nearby, it’s a nice getaway.

Great place to visit, a lot of artifacts scattered around garden. Nice paths, not crowded at all. Garden is not very big but that allows time to pause and take on all the treasures from around the world. We had a picnic in the garden too. Great experience.

Lovely garden. One could stay all day... and it's true. There's no restaurant here, but you're allowed to bring your own food and have a picnic outside. Children can do a scavenger hunt and go inside a butterfly tent. The staff was friendly and they'll give you a map. It's a great family experience.

Absolutely loved the adventure here! The owner (I think) was so friendly and informational. Even in the cold December it was great. We will definitely be back to see it in the spring! Check out there new love sign because after all Virginia is for Lovers
