Used the service a lot but had someone very rude over the phone. If this person is so arrogant and doesn’t understand what she is supposed to do/say in a service industry, she should quit.

I really enjoy banking with this company. I particular like the State Farm branch!!!! Staff are sooooo friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They greet me upon arrival each time letting me know they are willing to assist me with my banking needs. However I must say the Barracks Roads staff are stuck up and not friendly. I hate having to go to that bank. I do try to avoid going there because they don’t display the care as State Farm Branch. I have made at least two complaints concerning management yet to no avail. However that does not stop me from going to the State Farm Branch where I KNOW I’m appreciated!!! They know me and address me by name when they see me. Wow!!! No I’m not a millionaire yet!!!! Yet they treat me like I am. I have dealt with the one out 29 a few times and they were kind and professional. There is a young man there whom I really like!!! I was soooo impressed with his professionalism, and pleasant demeanor. Him and the State Farm crew are what banking employees are suppose to be!!!!! Welcoming smiling faces!!!!!! Thank you State Farm branch for always providing excellent service!!! Keep up the good work State Farm employees!!!!!!

The people at the Atlantic Union bank on Barracks Rd in Charlottesville are truly exceptional in every way. I've been banking here for approximately one year and it doesn't matter what the subject being addressed, nor the time of day, the complexity of the transaction, every single person at this bank is well trained and knows exactly what needs to be done; They exemplify the highest professional standards. But perhaps most important is their caring attitude, The way they listen, the suggestions they make and their general pleasantness regardless of the . This bank, and most of all THE PEOPLE AT THIS BANK HAVE SET THE BAR AT A HEIGHT VERY FEW EVER REACH… WHICH SUGGESTS THAT THE MANAGEMENT HERE – AND HOPEFULLY AT OTHER BRANCHES OF THIS BANK – TRULY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING, AND TRULY CARE. The people at this bank set the "excellence bar" at a very high level rarely seen. I'll soon be moving to new home in a different part of the state, but I will certainly be looking for another Atlantic Union bank with which to do my own banking… And I hope it proves to be as wonderful. The teller desk inside was welcoming, friendly (I'd give them 5 stars), and directed me to another desk for a name change on my account (who would get 1 star).I worked with Diane who seemed confused about the name change despite the fact that I brought all the proper documentation. I sat there for about 20-30 minutes while she typed on her computer and then I signed a few things. The whole process seemed very disorganized. She didn't ask if I needed anything else before I left. I was going to ask for checks, but didn't want to wait for an hour for those so I just left. Also, it's going to take 2-3 weeks for my new debit card to come in which just seems insane to me.This interaction is inspiring me to find a new bank.

They don't even deserve one star. Unreliable and unprofessional. Since last week I have been in contact with the team and till this moment I am unable to log in to my online banking account ! The problem is in the system, that what they are saying! I am really sorry for the time I am wasting on this.

Not a negative review on this branch in particular - but their entire website and online systems. They are total garbage and are always having problems. DO NOT open an account here if you plan on wanting to access your money and accounts online. Zelle, transfers, chat, App, everything is always on the fritz. They need to fire their crew that is managing this immediately

I was trying to mobile deposit checks and found out that this place has a 4-5k limit per rolling 30 days which is asinine, especially for a business account. My personal checking with another bank has that limit PER DAY. Why on earth would a bank want to make it harder for me to give them money is beyond me. I'll be considering other options to move my business account to.Update 3/4/2022 - Laura at Atlantic union bank reached out to me via a phone call and took care of upping the limit. Its nice to see a business being proactive as opposed to seeing a problem and asking for the individual to reach out through another means, like what was done here originally. Upped the rating as a result.

After having a personal account with Atlantic Union Bank for five plus years in a business account for about 6 months now I go to deposit my 16-year-old nephew's third party check which I already gave him the money for he signed the back of it I tried to deposit the $531 check and she tells me she can't deposit a third party check because he just signed it and didn't write payable too I think it's a little baffling that you're going to make somebody spend a good 4 hours driving out of his way all because my 16 year old nephew didn't put payable after the experience I just had I think I'm going to cancel both of my accounts and go somewhere else very unhappy and disappointing especially when I call customer service and they say it's at their discretion so basically the way I feel is I'm not important enough for them to do it for all banks that are under the name Atlantic Union Bank should have the same regulations and rules not from Branch to branch I was also suggested to try the other branches maybe one of them will
