Requested gig internet service from Ting for our new home in Charlottesville. Over a month later and with four different installer visits to my home we still do not have service. Promised dates of service have come and gone several times. Ting continuously strung us along. I cancelled my order with Ting today. We are VERY unhappy with Ting's competence and customer service.

Used to be good when local and was Blue Ridge Internetworks, but now run from Toronto and without the service level. You can't talk to anyone locally, just a call center in another country. Also used to have no almost no downtime and several incidents in past few months. Clearly has degraded. Don't be fooled by the "in your town" marketing. Nameless, faceless people at a company that does not care for you or your business because you are down the street. Supposed to be "business level" service and when we have an outage, it's get in line, don't care if internet connection is critical to your business, you just wait, no more expediting, not more critical care. Big drop off. We are switching to a dual provider system because we cannot count on Ting anymore. Might as well use Comcast, they at least have more technicians and claim to prioritize business service.

While their internet service is the best I've ever had at a good price, their customer service line is absolutely abysmal. I have had multiple occasions of being on hold for absurd amounts of time waiting for an agent. My most recent attempt to contact them today ended with the on-hold system telling me, essentially, "Never mind. We're not helping you today. Please call again and press 1." and then hanging up on me. So now I've wasted both the 25+ minutes I was on hold and the time I spent writing this to warn others.I added a second star because once you do get in touch with them, they go out of their way to be amazing. They even came out to fix a downed line, found out it wasn't theirs, and got it fixed anyway! Awesome people locally, but boy, oh boy is it tough to actually get in contact with anyone.

Seriously? Waited on hold for over 30 minutes!! Then they just hung up.Use to be good service.I’m looking for another provider. Seems like when they get you, they could care less afterwards. Great job!!

Tings customer service has surpassed any and all experiences having to deal with any technical issues interrupting our lives. Ting is always responsive, available and patient. I love the customer service peeps and I always learn something; a valuable tool in protecting our own lives and activities while being a Ting customer!

Great internet provider and excellent customer service. Much much better than Xfinity or AT&T that I both had in the past and was unhappy with both service and customer support .

Good promotion when we signed up. Very helpful and efficient customer service. Easy to toggle between full gig service and more modest broadband, if needed. No upselling! It's a bit more pricey -- as a retired couple -- compared to our prior service, but worth it.

I've been with Ting since they first came to our neighborhood in 2019. They're the best! I can't recall ever having a problem. It's incredibly fast and always there.

We have had Ting for about 2 years and other than minor problems at the beginning, we have not had any down time at all. Customer service is live and responsive when needed. Best move we have made.

Internet service has been very reliable. The few times I’ve needed any service I was able to reach someone local very readily. They’ve always been super positive and helpful. So much more satisfying than past experiences with the more corporate internet providers. Never any surprising charges or upselling.

Very reliable and fast. Customer service isn't anything to write home about but as long as I don't have to call them then I don't care if it's good or bad. So far I haven't had to call them for much. Thanks for fast internet, Ting.
