The carwash itself is good the customer service is awful.After my last payment i went to the location in Charlottesville to cancel my account. I went through cancellation process with the attendant light skin guy. The handed me the slip and the i asked the guy to confirm i was cancelled and he confirmed.I just checked my account they charged me again despite me canceling my account not knowing i was going to be charged.I call the corporate and she tells i cant get a refund because i dont have the cancellation slip.I shouldnt have been charged after i had cancelled it.So it throw my bank account -56.So they still owe $32 for over draft including the $29 for the membership.Dont go through the head ache for this place.Nice carwash the headache ain't worth it.I wont ever come back. Whitehorse is better with better customer service

Really excited to try this place, but when I got home, I noticed that there were a whole bunch of paint chips taken out of the hood of my car. It was definitely not like that when I went in, so the car wash must have been the culprit. Very unhappy that this place is going to cost me a new paint job.

This was an awesome car wash!Prices were reasonable especially considering you've got "free" use of their vacuums, microfiber towels, and glass cleaner after you exit the tunnel. Employees were friendly and the wash itself seemed to be pretty gentle as far as automatic car washes go. I'd 100% get a monthly pass if I lived in the area!

They have one lane open for the check in kiosks which is frustrating. Then they open the other lane for an employee in a Toyota to skip the line and get his car washed. Not very cool at all.

Tried tidal for the first time. Had some issue pulling up to the rail because my car has auto hold. Needed to disable that. That was my bad....The wash was alright. Still had water spots after the wash and the machine doesn't dry the car completely. I liked the fact that their vacuum is strong and they provide towels and glass cleaner. However a lot of the towels were damp and some were even dirty.Not sure if the subscription will be worth it unless it's used regularly.-----------Came back a second time. But this time the experience was worse... The vacuum scratched my car while vacuuming...-----------Doesn't clean well. Had bird poo on the carThe wash (highest tier) doesn't clean it. See photos-----------End of July 2023… they raised their monthly subscription fee except the highest tier.

I had the worst experience with one of the young associates that works at the car wash. After waiting in line for 10mins (no one behind me) I was the next car to pay. Unfortunately the system goes down and he tells me he couldn’t process my payment and that I would need to backup and get behind the now 3-4 cars that are behind me. Hold one…so you’re telling me you can’t just walk not even 2ft to the other system to process my payment and I have to lose my place in line because you want to put all the cars behind me in the next lane and then you want me to get behind them when I’m next in line? Absolutely not!! I won’t be coming back. Sorry I couldn’t tell you about the car wash itself.

I have used this site since it opened. I have taken 3 Nissan cars through it regularly with no issues. During my last visit, the new manager stated that I cannot take my vehicle through as it is too big. The car has been through that specific wash dozens of times. So I called the corporate office of Tidal Wave to get their response. They said there is nothing they can do even though they confirmed the specific car in question fits in their washes. They tried to convince me to drive an hour to continue using their services at a different location rather than educate their manager on their washes. I will no longer be using Tidal Wave because they have uneducated managers that are more important than their customers.

I tried the unlimited monthly wash package for a month and had a great experience with the washes themselves. Unfortunately I spoke with someone at the store who canceled the wash package for me and wrote the final date that I could use it on my receipt. When I showed up on that final day I was told it actually expired the before and there was nothing they could do even though it was an agent at their location that had given me the wrong information. They directed me to call the corporate office. The corporate office then told me they could do nothing and to contact the store manager, but wouldn't give me a phone number or anything other than the first name of who to try to talk to at the local location. She did file a complaint and said the store manager would reach out. I then got a call a few hours later not from the store manager but feim someone in their customer service department who said it was my fault since the original receipt (given in august) stated my month ended in Sep 25. I explained that the agent at the location had written on my new receipt of cancelation, that he handed me in Sep 16, that Sep 26 was the final date I could use the unlimited wash, and all I wanted was my final wash. He then said it was my fault and hung up on me. Really awful customer service

I am a regular customer with membership. The wash is quick and reliable, it is well worth the membership if you go regularly. The staff is friendly. The vacuums work well, though brush attachments would be an excellent addition for vacuum hoses.Why I’m writing this review: Please change the bathroom door lock from the current push button style to a traditional bathroom deadbolt that rotates to engage the lock. Your current bathroom door *often* gets stuck in the locked position while the bathroom is unoccupied. This happens when the button on the inside handle does not pop out automatically when someone exits, or when someone accidentally pushes the button while exiting the bathroom. This requires customers to seek out staff to unlock the bathroom. Today a new employee was being trained. I walked in on him in the bathroom because he did not lock the door behind him. Then while I was in the bathroom after him, a different employee knocked on the door, and after just a few seconds the employee manually unlocked the door bc he didn’t hear me respond. The employee understandably assumed that the bathroom was unoccupied and that the lock was accidentally locked, as it regularly is. Please ensure that this does not happen again by changing the lock to a type that does not lock incidentally when the bathroom is unoccupied. Thanks for reading.

I don't usually do reviews, but 2day I went to tidal wave to get my car washed (mainly to get the brake dust off the wheels), the attendants came out with sponges and wiped the card down never did anything to the tires or wheels. I went thru the cycle and returned to get another wash because my wheels were not clean. They told me to pull to the side and they would do manually. One of the attendants came out and told me it wouldn't come off, I rubbed my finger on it and said it came off for me, he then got a attitude and went to get the hose not the brush and sprayed the wheel still not getting the brake dust off another attendant came and told him he would do it. I still have brake dust on my wheels, for the 40.00 per month I think you should get the full treatment.Service: Auto detailing

Tidal Wave did a great job in cleaning my car. The secret to a clean car is maintenance. You can expect a one time cleaning to clean everything. I am very happy and satisfied with the services receive. Also I appreciate the free dry cloths and window cleaning spray to do the last minute final touch. Thank you !!!

I've been using them for a couple of months, tried to add second vehicle like they're advertising. Sat in the 100 degree heat for 45 minutes while the clueless attendants tried to add my second vehicle. I gave them my name, phone number at least 30 times and even gave them my debit card. I will be cancelling my first vehicle at the end of this month. Totally unacceptable for their employees to be so poorly trained, my money is green and I'll just go spend it elsewhere. Stay away from this location

Super friendly staff, feels very professional, reasonable monthly rates. Fun experience for little kids impressed by car washes too :)Services: Polishing
