Do not use these guys. Total hacks, not at all a professional moving company. His truck looks fine on the outside but when you go inside you can see it's put together with spit & glue. You can see the street through the floor boards & the roof is some white hard plastic he added to create a roof. There are no shelves of any kind, coupled with a bunch of his own junk strewn about. I know this because l had to help them unload the truck when one of thier guys called in sick on day two.They just pile all of your boxes & furniture on top of each other. It took them two days to move us 8 minutes down the road & we had almost no furniture!! We sold most of it except for a few cabinets because we were getting new furniture. One piece of furniture I kept was an antique that was in pristine condition, and they took a chunk out of the bottom of it which now renders it worthless.We are still unpacking & each day we're finding more & more items they've ruined.He ended up charging us $3000 & unfortunately we also tipped them generously. This was before we unpacked & realized they broke so many of our items.Juan charges by the hour but don't be fooled by that because it ends up taking them days to get it done. I did not want to leave a poor review because l "thought" Jaun was a nice and fair guy, but after l sent him photos of everything they broke or damaged & told him how disappointed l was. l heard nothing but crickets. No, I'm sorry for ruining your stuff, no explanation of any kind. He just ignores you which proves my point about how unprofessional this company is. Save yourself a ton of grief, especially if you have items you don't want destroyed and look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by his reviews like l was, because after what we experienced, it's got to be family & friends writing those. I'm so glad l took photos of everything they destroyed because I may seek legal counsel over this.PS: I'm editing this review because Jaun is not telling the truth. He only responded once l gave a Google review. When I reached out to him earlier today to try & resolve this privately he would not respond. I have all his texts & he changed his story 3 times. First he said l told you & your husband about damaging your antique cabinet. Then he said l told your husband about damaging your cabinet, lastly he said I told your husband the previous movers from 3 & 1/2 years ago damaged your antique cabinet. Seriously!!!! Is this guy for real. Like we wouldn't have noticed an heirloom piece was damaged in 3 & 1/2 years when I clean it every week. Just man up & admit you damaged the item & make it right! Unbelievable!

They moved my daughter from Charlottesville to Richmond and they were very professional and reasonable. They handled everything with care and were great to work with. I highly recommend them without question!

The two movers I had were awesome! First of all, I was so impressed by how much they could fit into their 16 foot truck! they then managed to move all my belongings up tall/narrow steps to my upper level apartment. they were so professional, hard-working, and diligent with their work! I would 100% recommend them.

I hired Juan and Harvey for my in-town move. They were prompt, good humored and pleasant. The move took 8 1/2 hrs, longer than I think either they or I was expecting, but they carried on until complete. They were strong, skillful and know how to pack a truck. It was a positive experience. Absolutely amazing service at a great price! The 3 individuals who assisted me in moving some heavy equipment to my basement were incredibly professional, friendly and coordinated. They made the task look like a breeze. I will definitely be using Sharky’s again for any future moving needs.

Juan and Harvey are the dynamic duo!!! They delivered a 300+ pound California King bed frame that was almost 6 feet tall at the headboard to our home and brought it up to our 2nd floor bedroom. Both were professional, safe, deliberate, and very accurate in their movements to not cause any damage. My wife and I will use them again in the future; awesome service!

We did a local move last week, and Juan, Harvey and Dakota were awesome. They were professional, hard-working and generally good guys. Thanks to them, the move was much faster and much less stressful than I was expecting.

Sharky’s did a great job with our move today and I would highly recommend them to any of our friends and family in the area. They worked nonstop to get our furniture and boxes moved in 90 degree weather, all with a smile too! They were very polite, handled our items carefully, and wrapped up our furniture. I only have positive things to say about this moving company.

Highly recommend Sharky's. My moving plans changed were altered about 30 minutes before my scheduled time slot and they were able to move me later in the day with no issue while being very accommodating. They were speedy while also taking care of my items and did it all with a smile. Hire them!

Marvelous movers! Juan and Harvey were efficient, helpful, very pleasant. The company seems very well-run and were easy to communicate with. I recommend them highly! Very fair price.
