DO NOT go here for make up application!! I had an appointment, explained the look I wanted and showed pictures. The make up artist tried to do my eye make up 2x and it was horrible. I finally just walked out. Horrible!'

My daughter went in here with her aunt to grab a few products. I wasn't with her but she told me that the employee kindly helped her find things that would be good for her. She also didn't have enough money for two full sized products and was embarrassed but the employee also kindly and quickly got her the sample size of one of the products and even gave her some samples. THANK YOU for being kind to her. I'm sure the younger kids can get annoying in the store but the fact that she was treated with kindness means so much to me. I only wish I had her name so she could get the recognition she deserves.

I had a wonderful experience at Sephora last month. I missed my chance to complete the feedback survey but I wanted to make sure that the lovely people who helped me are celebrated. Kelly gave an excellent lip facial and helped me find the perfect product to keep my lips moisturized during winter. Jamie greeted me with kindness and was patient and helpful. Rosa and Wendy worked hard to help me find the right colors and products I needed. For someone who knows almost nothing about make-up, I left Sephora feeling empowered and equipped to do my own make-up and feel confident. Thank you to everyone who helped me that day!

We always have a great experience at this store. Employees are always attentive and kind. The inventory was a little low today (1/2) which is completely understandable given the holidays just ended. Store was neat and organized.

Came to this store on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 and checked out at 3:13 PM. If management reads this, you'll need to know the time so that you can train your cashier to watch her racial microaggressions. Will go into detail with that towards the bottom.Upon entering, I proceeded directly to the foundation section. While I understand that immediate greetings aren't always possible, I was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment or assistance during my search for products. Despite my attempts to seek help, I found myself navigating the selection without any support, which unfortunately is a familiar experience as a woman of color. I was literally told to "hold on". There was a much better way to state that. After flagging down another employee for assistance, I received help obtaining a sample, but this was the SOLE assistance I received despite struggling with the available choices. However, the most disconcerting moment was during the checkout process. The cashier made an unprovoked remark about the store's return policy, stating, "Just so you know, we don't accept returns without a receipt." This statement was delivered in a manner that felt unnecessary and was not extended to previous customers. Coupled with the lack of assistance and the overall tone during my visit, this comment added to the demoralizing experience. While I hesitate to attribute such experiences directly to racism, the evident disparity in assistance provided to me, the only person of color in the store at the time, prompts concern. It is crucial for your staff to receive training on racial sensitivity and provide equitable service to all customers, irrespective of their background.I hope this feedback can contribute to fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all customers. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope for positive changes in the future.I will be taking the sample of my foundation and buying it elsewhere.

I went to grab a new foundation and the team was so helpful and friendly. Wendy, who helped me, was so wonderful. All her recommendations were spot on, she was very professional and knowledgeable. She was super sweet and patient with my millions of question. I had a wonderful experience thanks to Wendy and the rest of the team who were so lovely. Thank you!

I was actually really pleasantly surprised how nice all the associates were the last 2 times I was in and how diverse their staff was. Many of them are in their twenties and some of them have just an ok knowledge of products, but everyone I interacted with was very nice. I bought a pretty expensive serum off of a recommendation and ended up having an allergic reaction (not her fault I have really picky skin) and everyone was very apologetic and the return was a breeze. I tracked down almost every associate in the store to see what they'd all recommend, and was pleasantly surprised at all of their knowledge and their willingness to help. I think they were definitely more willing to help people who seem like they will drop some $ here. Which, in all fairness, they are working a sales floor and this is their job. A good trick I've picked up is leading with "price doesn't matter" (even if it does lol) when asking for help, and seeing what they recommend off the bat. If it's out of my range, then I'll ask if they've found a drugstore dupe for the high end product then compare the two. In general, their selection of drugstore options is WAY more limited than ULTAs is. If you want good dupes and more to pick from I'd go to ULTA. Sephora does offer some high end brands and more expensive products in general, but it's a good place to find a nice addition to my normal product lineup. The bulk of my cosmetic shopping is at ULTA and I save Sephora for special splurgy items. I ended up grabbing a laneige moisturizer (I trust anything k beauty) and a inky list redness serum and both have worked beautifully for my skin. I'm looking forward to trying lady Gaga's foundation line. Thanks so much to the associates that helped out and they also give samples which was a nice perk! Looking forward to coming back sometime.

Declining experience and knowledge among the sales staff. Makes the experience like shopping at an outlet mall. If you know what you want and you can't get it elsewhere, then by all means, head to this store.

We were at the Stonefield shops and wanted to stop in Sephora. Right away when you walk in, you are greeted from two different individuals and we were asked if we needed a basket and if we were looking for something specific. Corinne had walked us to a section that had some skincare were were looking for and then we browsed around. The store itself was clean and well stocked/organized. When we went to get in line to pay, it was a short line that went quickly. The staff talked to each person, talked about the rewards, and Kelly gave me my birthday gift at the register. Overall a pleasant shopping experience.

Arrived at 7:20 when the posted closing time was 8 (both online and in paper outside the store), was only met with hostility and rudeness by multiple employees and ignored by others when I inquired about trying to shop. Terrible experience.

Where I currently live, I do not have a full size Sephora. There's been a lot of changes in the beauty industry that I have not kept up with throughout COVID and the JC Penny location that is near me just does not cut it for me. I stopped at the Charlottesville location for help with shade matching. Xavier was SO helpful. She was very attentive, as well as informative. I'm happy I went in and was able to receive her expertise. Thank you again Xavier!
