I made the terrible mistake of walking in without having an appointment, and wow did I pay for it. The receptionist let me know I needed one but that a designer would try to spare a few minutes for me. (I offered to make an appointment but was not given one.)
That designer was so unbelievably rude I will not ever go back. Condescending towards my choice of tile, telling me simultaneously that it doesnt exist yet she isn't familiar with what anyone else has, and constantly reminding me that had I gone to the website I would know I needed an appointment.
I myself run a luxury business in Charlottesville. I would NEVER make a client feel like they were an inconvenience or a nuisance, which was how I felt today after being excited to look at tiles, which is impossible to do by oneself there because of the way the store is organized.
My family had previously had good experiences with Pete, and have purchased all of our tile there, until now. We will no longer be using this business.

Sarisand? More like Sari-scam. I will join the chorus of negative reviews. Avoid this place at all costs.
We contacted Sarisand for a couple of projects, and they offered to have an installer come out and measure to get our order size right. The quantity seemed large to me, but on pressing Sarisand, they insisted on their installer's numbers. Since they are the alleged tile experts, I trusted them. After the install, we had a 50% surplus - double the tile we needed. Of course, we could only return the tile at a steep restocking fee and after paying massive shipping costs. Sarisand never acknowledged their mistake and refused to make things right, despite the large error on their part.
Either they are incompetent at tile installs or running a scam. I'm not sure which is worse.

Truly a nightmare to work with if you have ANY sort of problem. It's been months of un-returned phone calls, excuses, scheduled and missed meetings, apologies, and no action. No matter how small the job you have, I would drive to Richmond or DC before buying from here again. Please do yourself a favor and avoid.

Stay away from this place! Where to begin with the issues. First the designer had a snobby attitude from the beginning. We ended up having to deal with them for months and each interaction got worse. The know-it-all designer sold us very expensive mosaic shower floor tile that after we went out to the vendor’s website learned that this type of tile was not recommended for shower floors. We waited 3 months for this tile and had to return it. The designer also sold us a shower wall tile with a crackle finish that the vendor’s website said needs to be sealed every 6 months. The designer should have known to inform us of this. There is no component customer service at this place. We asked to talk with the manager and he never returned our call. It’s clear they just want your money.

Your one stop shop for any tile needs you may have, and they also have other flooring as well. As someone who was in the construction business for almost 10 years, I have to say that the selection seen at Sarisand Tile is some of the best I have come across. Their showroom is full of fun and exciting new looks for your imagination and creativity to run wild. I highly recommend the team at Sarisand and they will be my first stop for my next renovation project.

Incredibly helpful, and most importantly, knowledgeable crew! We drive from Richmond to get our tile here - big box stores can’t touch the quality and variety to be found at Sarisand.

Stuck up designers who appear to have a dislike in designing. Very unhelpful staff with a condescending tone at every turn. I don’t think that I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Tile WONDERLAND showroom at 685 Rio Rd West Charlottesville. Make an appointment M-F 9-4pm if possible with designers THOMAS or Pete are amazing. Bring dimensions & pictures of your room. Tile from over 100 suppliers. We have bought tile for many bathroom showers here.

Ample selection of quality tiles, marble and stone products. Variety, together with patient and knowledgeable sales people, made shopping more enjoyable. Thomas A. was particularly helpful in assisting with the materials selection and styling for our MBR bathroom. Highly recommend.

This store knows how to put the customer first. My contractor ordered kitchen backsplash tile from Morris Tile in Richmond. The tile ran short and was reordered from Morris. When the tile arrived, it wasn't the same color and the design didn't even look the same. Morris reply was too bad. After looking around for several months trying to select new tile, I found Sarisand Tile. Within 15 minutes of walking in with one tile and saying it was from Mexico, Thomas had the three designs of my tile on the computer and had contacted the manufacturer to see if they could match what I had. Within one hour, he had a copy of the shipping slip from my original order which showed date ordered, date shipped, color dye lot, number of tiles sent--all information Morris refused to share with my contractor. Thomas could have sold me tile for a whole new backsplash but instead he just ordered the few square feet I needed to complete the job. The tile came in and it matches perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Sarisand. Also, the selection of tiles they have is beautiful. Certainly better then most things you will see at Morris Tile.
